They were never going to win with their current squad. They failed to strengthen their squad in key areas during the trade deadline. They have to get rid of their old guard esp guys like Klay and Looney. Wigs has had a disappointing season and fell short of expectations. Kaminga and GP2 show promise. CP doesnt add value to the team either. Draymond when playing can still contribute. This team needs an injection of hungry and solid 2 way players, size in the middle etc. When they won they played great defense, forced turnovers and got them running which would give them transition buckets. Steve Kerr also made some questionable decisions all season long. They also need a solid defensive coach too. It collapsed once Mike Brown left.
After all he’s done for golden-state and this is the response he gets. What a classless and thankless league. No character at all.
