I said this as soon as they got Beal. Why tf would you get 3 perimeter scorers who all do same things? Their games don’t compliment each other. If one is hurting you, then the other 2 aren’t. There’s only one ball. They can’t all be hurting you at the same time. A good big three is a facilitator, a scorer, and a big. A bad big three is three bigs, or 3 facilitators, or… 3 scorers.
And before y’all bring up GS, the way they all scored was completely different. And they had Draymond to facilitate.
When the suns put together their “big 3” I knew it was stupid. You can’t have 3 similar guys that all so the same thing. You need playmakers, passers, hustle and rebounders, defenders etc
Anyone that thought 3 superstar ball hawks would work are stupid as fuck. Look back ag irving kd and harden or irving kd and ben or kd russ and harden. Having 3 pure scorers dont mean shit if u can play defense and they get them point right back
