I hope he opts out and finally leaves the Lakers alone. With Lebron, the Lakers have had six seasons with just one relevant season which ended in the bubble title thanks to AD and team chemistry. The other 5 seasons they had 2 where they did not even make the playoffs, and three in which they barely made the playoffs to then get bounced in the first round and soon it will be TWO sweeps of them.
It is time to cut ties. Either let him walk himself so he can save face, or simply wait till he opts in and then trade him after that. The Lakers deserve a shot to build around AD with younger talent…

I think Lebron plays 2 more seasons. I think he wants to retire with gas still in the tank and walk away as still, arguably, a Top 10-15 player in the league., still an all-star level player. I think he wants to retire with a lot of people saying "man he could have played another year or two for sure!"….And I could see him taking a small discount on a contract but nothing drastic like taking 2 million. I could see him signing a 1-year deal for $20 million somewhere that Bronny is playing or is a contender.

Minnesota or Phx can beat Denver. Denver is a bad match up for Lakers (obviously). Minnie and Phx give Denver match up problems.
The Lakers just made horrible trades and let good players go ever since The Bubble. Now they don't have any offense to run and get their players rhythm and shots. You just see a bunch of DHOs and no action on the weak side and when you don't have any explosive ball handlers, you are easy to shut down. They would need an amazing coach to be better than they are. Boston still doesn't have the leader for tight games even though they are really great across the board.
LeBron kept losing track of Gordon, giving up multiple layups. DLo can't dribble by anyone, so if he isn't hitting 3s he's not effective. AR is just limited. AD disappears in the 4th. They were in 8th place for many good reasons.

Dense D will be in LA next year. That doesn’t guarantee success but he from West Coast. He’s way better and consistent that D lo. His mid range is great 3-5 3’s a game. He gonna give you 20-25 a night efficiently. Not injured a lot. D lo and Rudy with one of those picks.

At first when I heard Bill say top 3 team of the century, I was a bit shocked. But as I sit here and think about it….I'm not sure there are more than 5 teams that would beat this Nuggets team right now. Top 3 still feels a little high. I'd bet the 08 Celts, 14 Spurs, and even the 19 Raps might be able to beat them if they matched up

The way they talked about Denver and Jokic reminds me of “old school” teams. And I’m a younger fan, so I’m just mostly getting it off of the history and documentations that I’ve watched.
