The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Phoenix Suns, 126-109. Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 36 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists while Rudy Gobert (19 points and 14 rebounds) and Karl-Anthony Towns (18 points, 13 rebounds) totaled 37 points. Bradley Beal led Phoenix with 28 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists as Kevin Durant added 25 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists. The Timberwolves now lead the best-of-seven series, 3-0, with Game 4 taking place on Sunday, April 28, 9:30 PM ET, TNT.
In tonight’s game, Anthony Edwards moved into second place on Minnesota’s Playoff points list, he trails only Kevin Garnett.
Edwards totaled the 7th 30-PT game of his Playoff career tonight in just his 14th career Playoff game. Seven games match Kevin Garnett for most such games in franchise history. Garnett played in 47 postseason games for the Wolves.
This is the first time Minnesota has ever held a 3-0 lead in the Playoffs in their franchise history. It’s the first time they’ve ever won three consecutive games in the Playoffs in their franchise history.

Last year when Minnesota lost to the Nuggets even they said that the Timberwolves was the ONLY team that made it a difficult series to beat. And they beat them 4-1. This year’s Timberwolves team is healthy and stacked from top to bottom just like Denver. I expect a legendary series
