This kinda makes our early exit much easier to stomach. Our two most hated WC rivals going out sadder than us šŸ˜

Suns getting swept by a Gobert-led team with their super team fully healthy is much more embarrassing than our disasterclass this postseason. Clippers going all out and still ending up with an injured Kawhi and disappointing first round (likely) upset was way too predictable.

Only thing that can top this is the Heat somehow eliminating the Celtics. Thatā€™s my ring for this season

  1. Yeah, it should be just as big of a deal lol, we were the 7th seed

  2. basketballgears

im down to swing for the fences one more time and throw the kitchen sink to get KD.

  3. its crazy how the new younger generation is taking out the older stars

  4. LegendKingX

Def glad to see the the Flippers and the Phoenix Bums likely to go home with us as well. As a bonus The Suns imploding could force them to move off KDšŸ‘€

Why sadder? Lakers are getting swept for two straight playoffs by the same team. Nothing can be more frustrating than this shit.

Altho suns getting blown out all series long by the wolves is embarrassing af too. But still, lakers are more pathetic cant even win 1 against the nuggs for two whole years lmao

Dk still a damn good at that age and after the injury respect

  7. fractal_fables

These teams have 0 rings, they are not our rivals

  8. TorontoRaptors34

honestly this just shows the tides are turning the new generation has come through love or hate its sad cuz we grew up with a lot of these guys and now age is catching up.

  9. gratitudeisbs

Lebron, KD, Kawhi, PG, Russ, Harden all going out in the first round. Steph didnā€™t even make the playoffs.

End of an era for a group of guys who ran the league for the past 15 years

  10. Stebsy1234

They ainā€™t our rivals mate lol Weā€™re the Lakers. Our only rivalry is with the Spurs and Celtics. Fuck Boston.

  11. At least we have the excuse losing to jokic and this loaded nuggets team

  12. Dj3garrett

After all of this losing to the Nuggets, I canā€™t Ā watch them win another ring. Please Wolves or Mavs take them out.Ā

  13. differentlevel1

It really doesn’t for me. I guess I hold the Lakers to the highest standarts. Besides those two are zero chip teams.

May the clippers never hang a banner here. Or anywhere.

  15. UltraMoglog64

Gobert is legit the Wolvesā€™ most consistent star. Rumors of his playoffs demise were greatly exaggerated. He never had a McDaniels in Utah.

  16. Kingkoopakoopa

I think ours is worst, LBJ has less time and has way more heart than (except for AD) rest of the team. I think many of our players are better than what they have shown but some need to go.

  17. BackendSpecialist

    Yeah yā€™all!

GSW missed the playoffs in an embarrassing fashion. Also, LAC and PHX are getting swept.

    We found our moral victory!!

Clippers only down 2-1, too early to call that series over

  19. Clips should sack Ty Lue, what an abysmal end of their window. Also, Ty Lue come home please.

If it was just age for us I think I can be okay with that. It sucks we canā€™t fully know how well this team would or wouldnā€™t do with an exceptional or even just better coach.

There are so many things just even the slightest bit of common sense coaching could have changed this series and the past 2 seasons for the team.

Jokes aside the games everyone jokes that LeBron sat out and was able to ā€œLeCoachā€ was refreshing to see our bench light up like stars.

Iā€™m not familiar with everyone elseā€™s coaches aside from the Suns since he was ours during the bubble. Can someone fill me in if anyone else outside of the Bucks is experiencing this same kind of grief from a bad or inexperienced coach? Like itā€™s incredible to me these guys did as well as they did in spite of Ham.

I’ll never understand caring about another teams failures, much less using it to cope. All I care about is the Lakers and right now I’m bummed. Early exits of other teams that other people label as our rivals do nothing for me. Especially because I’m the end they’ll be in a better position than us next season to compete.

  22. sunnyboys2

Itā€™s a young manā€™s game so it seems

  23. Rich-Presentation744

Idc about them tbh. Just want us to lose today because weā€™ve all seen enough

  24. immunityfromyou

I actually wanted to Clippers to win that series. I donā€™t hold much animosity for them unless they play agonist the Lakers.

  25. madderyack

Crazy how the pacific has all 5 teams make it to at least the playin game, yet all 5 might be out in the 1st

  26. I will never understand clippers. Now I’m not saying this as a hater but the weird situation where everyone keeps saying they are a championship team every single year when they have only made the west conf finals once.

Every other teams have had conversations about them rising and falling but the clippers will always be contenders. Really doesn’t make sense to me

For the suns, their team is just horribly constructed and the coach isn’t making things any better. Vogel being weak offensively made things worse.

I just want to point out too how everyone should look at the super teams and see how important having a great coach really is. Phil should be catapulted to God tier as he managed to coach two all time great teams with wild personalities to 11 championships while everyone else is failing.
