Beal was just the wrong person to pair with Durant and Booker. The Wizards couldn't believe someone would willingly take that contract off their hands and give them stuff back in return.
The worst superteam if not the most. Their real problems are they have no natural pg to set up plays, bad coaching from vogel, and devin choker. In the times with cp3 they reach deep in the playoffs so its clearly that they missed a good pg on their roster. Second problem is frank vogel cannot maximized the full potential of the three talents just like what he does in LA back then. And third is Devin choker himself, this guy just choking in the playoffs. He cannot play under pressure.
Doc is more worried about blame and accountability than the outcome of the rest of the series. He needs everyone to know his team was too injured to win and that coaching isn't responsible for the losses.
