I subtract 10 points from our lead whenever we play the Nuggets. That 4th quarter was STRESSFUL even though we were up by “double digits” for the majority of it. Good to see that we didn’t meltdown for once.

This game is the reason why this series has been so frustrating bc it clearly shows that the team can go head to head with denver and they could’ve easily won the past 3 games without making dumb decisions . I dont have any expectations for the next game bc this team has burned me so many times, i’m just glad we didnt get swept again lol

For real though AD been killing it every single game and finally the rest of the team decides to show up at the literally last minute. This series could have easily been 2-2 if this level of effort to close out games was there in G2/G3. Hope this continues to G5 and beyond.

One thing I noticed was that we paced ourselves and remained calm. Didn’t get too high didn’t get too low. Also iso ball was brought down significantly.
Difference in this game was getting LBJ and AD some rest so they had something left in the 4th. Jax finally got some run and held his own (he should never try to create his own shot though). AR and DLo both showed up – neither took over but they finally played the role they need to for this series.
If Rui, Gabe, or Dinwiddie can figure it out offensively (especially Rui since he gets the most minutes) we could get the next one too.
Lot more boxing out this game, fewer 2nd chances on offense from Denver.
