JALEN JOHNSON: The Atlanta Hawk spurs SHOULD BE AFTER! He's a 6'9 swing/PF with a 7'0 wingspan going into his 4th year at 22 years old. Shot 35% from 3pt this year, can guard 1-5 on defense and has been catching lobs from tray the past two years with great athleticism. Atlanta MAY Consider him untouchable but I'd consider sending back one of their picks for him
Keldon should be moved only because he deserves to compete on a contender the same way spurs sent Derrick white to boston.
Anfernee Simmons would definitely be intriguing on the spurs with a "log jam" of guards out in POR. Spurs should definitely be smart with their money
Really wanna see this Spurs team become successful. I’m hoping they get Topic, and Raptors fall to 7th and the Spurs could get another international playing in Tidjane Salaun.
spurs biggest weakness is primarily defense and spacing although their 3rd biggest weakness is play making I don't think they should go after Nikola Topic because he doesn't provide spacing or defense I think ideally they pick up Zaccharie Risacher because he's a good defender and can make the 3 ball of course if they can they should obviously go after Alexander Sarr because he's a 7'1'' center with good defense, flashes of playmaking, and sparkles of shooting if they can't get either Risacher or Sarr they should go after a point guard with playmaking and shooting maybe someone like Rob Dillingham
Sarr, Risacher and Topic are all good additions to Spurs.
But If we get Raptor's pick,
how about go for Magic's Isaac?
This season Wemby is often defending two or more guys at same time, he needs some help.
If Isaac joins us, we can play swishing defense on front court sooooo well.
Plus, we can avoid Wemby losing stamina quickly.
In my imagination,
it would be like this:
Spur gets: Issac + 2024 Magic's 1st round pick
Magic gets: Raptor's pick + Malaki + maybe two 2st round picks.
If it's a done deal,
then imagine we put Wizard's Avdija along with Wemby & Isaac.
Solid defense + sneaky-good ISO + a little bit playmaking.
Sounds like Ben Simmons with shoot + good attitude and only 4yrs/5500M.
But it would cost more assets to make it come true.
That'd in my mind like this:
Spur gets: Avdija
Wizard gets: Magic's pick+ Bull's pick + Zach + Graham( to help with salary match )
If we go lucky,
we may have the starters line like this:
Wemby
Isaac/ Sochan
Avdija/ Keldon/Sidy
Vassell
Plus our own 2024 1st pick to backup.
Honestly, If Victor is not on minutes restriction, this can be a play-in as is imo. Just……..Ohh God……..Make these Lefraud and Bronny rumors end.
