Everyone knows the Celtics entered the playoffs with the NBA’s best record, but do people realize how special this squad has been?
I know this is going to sound blasphemous given the 17 championship banners already hanging, the fact The Two Jays era has yet to produce even one of those, but we might be witnessing the most dominant Celtics team ever.

Arsenal in the English Premier League is in a similar situation with the Celtics. Arsenal fell short of the title last season after a dominant campaign, and they are even better this season and there is a chance they won't win the title and lose to the Man city team that won last year.
Add to that, the fact that both franchise have not won the title in a long time.
I hope they get the job done this season.
Here me out: they are not the most dominant Boston team ever. It only happened that they are really good in a really mediocre eastern conference.
I can’t say they are a dominant team when they consistently blew numerous 20+ leads to mediocre teams. Compared to 2018 they don’t play as hungry.
Boston's center was guarded by a Miami PF and was useless. Allowing Bam to destroy them. No answer for Tyler either. Same old choking Celtics.

This 2024 Boston team seems vulnerable mentally. They blew out much of their opposition in the regular season and seem uncomfortable in close games.

Can't be dominant without having won anything. 7 years of the J duo and only 1 finals appearance. Butler has been with The Heat with 5 seasons and they've already been to the finals TWICE with far less talent.
