Did they quit in game 3 when they won a nailbiter after being robbed game 2? Guys coming up short ain’t always quitting.

There’s blame to go all the way around. Owners to GMs to coaches to players.

Some players quit hustling years ago when they got paid. Most fans have quit though.

I don’t know if they quit. I think they are being forced to lean too much on a 70% Embiid who is not in shape to play around 40 min. If any roll player stepped up, we would have won game 4. They were getting wide open shots. They just weren’t taking them or they were making them.
It’s unfortunate when the identity of your team is that you choke in the playoffs because that pressure just builds.

This feels like watching Super Bowl 57 highlights… the nostalgia hurts way too much lol.

Imagine how different everyone’s attitudes would be if they didn’t blow game 2. This series has gone exactly as expected otherwise.

Embiid cannot jump right now which is killing the sixers in the rebounds. Hes getting out hustled in every possession. A healthy embiid would change these games. Its wild he had knee surgery like 3 months ago and is playing at all. Then add bells palsy on top of that. This man is a fighter but at some point you need to decide when it does not make sense to risk further injury.

Off topic but what do you guys think about Embiid’s build during this era? I know his recent knee injury has to be put in account. But he’s a lot slimmer and seems more explosive here. I think before he bulked up and started playing bully ball, he was a lot quicker off the catch and in post. Do y’all think that would also help with his conditioning?
