Vando provides more in defense than Rui and Rui has been non existence on offense this series. So maybe more upside with vando?
Forget that, throw Vando right at MPJ every few minutes, whatever he can. MPJs been killing us!!
That's great news regarding Jarred. There is no way Murray will not play unless he's injured enough that he can't be effective. Regardless, the Lakers have to play at least as well as they did in game 4 if not better. Denver will adjust and the Lakers have to counter. This game is going to be more difficult to win than game 4. The role players will have to bring it, not just A.D. and LeBron, for the Lakers to have a chance to win.
Nuggets will use two and three players to keep AD off the boards for game 5. That means at least one other laker should be able to crash for the rebound.
If Lakers have a lead at halftime, start the 3rd with Vando (instead of Rui, unless Rui is cooking)… Defense, length and effort. He can help dampen a Denver run with D and rebounding.
Will Vando confuse their chemistry? Also I doubt he'll score more than a couple points. They're putting him in because unfortunately it's probably their last game.
Trevor's analysis and plan for game 5 is right on! It aligns with my hazy perspective. The thing to do is to disrupt Denver's rhythm of deadly offense where they get open shots. Break their rhythm. Maybe block key players or key assist players. We need more rim protection from Jaxson. Rui needs to sink the ball in during layup as he had done in regular season games. Lastly, I noticed that when players are relaxed they tend to sink their 3 point shooting.
I wonder if the Nuggets watch LN to steal Trevors suggestions, lol
Going back to last year. We were winning most of these games. We need to get some stops and box out.

I think those change of status is only used to confuse Nuggets. They haven’t been training with the team. I highly doubt Ham would risk playing them.
Trevor, I hear you about Max, but let’s be real. Every time Max was playing important minutes, he’d make mistakes that a young player makes. Hard to leave a guy like that out there when we’re clawing to get into the play in tournament. I agree with you, but it’s not realistic.

Vando is a big help in the 2nd half when the nuggets attempt to close the game. Just saying.

ATTACK Murray on defense and test him, make him work out real HARD to make him FEEL PAIN and DEFEND him on offense, chase him and make him work his calf out to bust it, then test VANDO for a couple of minutes to see what he can do on DEFENSE, but I guess this won't come to fruition since BALDY is TOO DUMB AND STUBBORN TO MAKE SENSE
If we play each possession methodically without stupid carelessness, like last game we’d be more than fine. Also, need to take timely timeouts and slow it down the game as soon as you sense Denver go on a run. MUST win the rebound battle (use Prince more, maybe wood and Vando for this) and keep the turnovers to a minimum and we will win!
Go at Jokic early and get him to foul. Use those mismatches in the post and play with no fkn mercy!
AR and DLo are key offensively and if not, Rui can get it cooking bruh we are in it!
Lakers should win this series though this is the key game because Denver will get nervous
I don't understand why Ham didn't try using Max game 3. I remember his defense wasok and he could hit a 3. We are getting nothing from the be bench besides Prince. Next man up, bring the kid in!
