I made some extremely foolish posts or replies around here a week before the series started. I couldn’t have been more wrong. You all beat the brakes off of the Suns. I have a ton of respect for your squad and hope you go all the way. McDaniels is such a great defender funneling guys to Gobert. I’m glad you so thoroughly beat the Suns so we can fire our coach ASAP and figure out how to do something in such a bleak future state ahead.
Enough about us (Suns). This is all about Minnesota getting their flowers. Ant is the future. Booker is a forever meme.

No sweat my guy. All love. I can confidently say that any Wolves fan thinking we were gonna sweep this series is a bold face liar. Most of us were not feeling great about this series given the regular season performance and the fact that, after all, we are Minnesota sports fans. A welcome surprise and definitely feeling on cloud 9. Feel bad for the Suns because the roster outlook looks bleak, but hey, we’ve been there.
I was nervous about Phoenix getting hot at the same time making it impossible to beat. Only saw 2/3 of it working last night and the wolves had a pretty shitty first half and kept it within 5. Had Beal played even an average or pretty good game, Phoenix probably sends it to game 5.
But it was the same thing last year for Phoenix vs Denver. Denver said MIN was the toughest opponent even tho the suns won 1 more game because it took Booker shooting absolutely unrealistic numbers to beat them. He did that last night and KD had a damn good game too but MN didn’t let the 5-6 pt deficit turn to 15 pts which to me was the main key.
Also when you know your guys are dipping into the 40s for minutes played, it doesn’t bode well while the opponent is constantly bringing in fresh legs
Can’t fault anyone for getting caught up in a narrative. The Suns were favored in the series. Most people picked them. They beat us badly in the regular season. They had a “big 3”. And they were facing a young and unproven team.
I’ve said all year Denver, OKC, and the Wolves were going to beat the breaks off of every other team out west. The Wolves and OKC are underrated just because they’re young and new. But they’re both easily better than any team outside of Denver.

It appears that most of the media outlets were saying Suns in 5 or 6. I think media is too stuck on the old stars and reliving the magic that they produced in their primes. It is a new league and the best player in that series was Ant, and the second best player was Gobert and I can give you Durrant as third and Book as 4th.

Good luck to your team in next season. If your team had displayed the same amount of fire and intensity throughout all 4 games as they did in game 4, we would likely still be playing this upcoming week.
Your players need to do some soul searching about defensive effort. But after that Sham’s hit piece on Vogel, he is a dead man walking. Durant ended up with 2 fouls. He could have easily sacrificed himself to make it harder on a bunch of dunks. Or at least earn it from the free throw line. He ducked that smoke.
