Would you listen to how Barkley's talking about how great THAT LOPSIDED OFFICIATING AFFAIR WAS❗️❗️❗️ They let James take 5 steps to the basket! There is a cost to challenging. If you kept winning challenges, and NEVER lost a timeout, then you could just spam unlimited challenges with no penalty. In other words, if you challenge a 2-free-throw call and you're successful, YOU get an out-of-bounds call INSTEAD in your favor, and in exchange for getting a call in your favor, you exchange a timeout. If you're unsuccessful, you LOSE from them shooting 2 free throws and you LOSE your timeout. Thus, there is a cost to challenging.
