How is this possible when we’re down 15-20 to start every game?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The defensive rating flying up makes sense but the offensive rating being that terrible without Bam is what gets me. It’s insane how bad the team is without Bam on the court.
At this point Spo should keep Bam out there the whole time and just let him empty the clip until he calls out for a break

The second we try and go zone without Bam, it’s without fail 2-4 wide opens threes and they’ve hit them on us. Their bigs being able to shoot has changed the math. Was easier to pull off when it was Robert Williams as their big.
Makes Kevin Love pretty much unplayable unless Bam is also out there.

I’m curious what Bam’s on/off looks like when factoring in zone only. Boston has been destroying Miami with open threes when they’ve been in zone instead of man-to-man (and Bam off the court has been pretty much exclusively zone).

We’ve actually played the Celtics to a draw the minutes Bam and Herro are playing together.
The problem becomes whenever one of them sits. We have a negative 38 net rating without Herro and negative 54 without Bam. We just don’t have a chance without Jimmy, Rozier and Duncan

I have to think we go 7 with Jimmy, Terry, and Josh healthy

Hopefully Jovic can take a step next year & bulk up so he can play the 5 once in a while

He needs to play 45+ minutes to have any chance at all. Steal a minute or two at the end of the 1st and 3rd quarters and roll from there
