You guys are so far behind the changing NBA. Suns are trying to play super team when that Era is dead
I don’t understand why this is being made so damn complicated. Beal, Booker, and Durant playing together makes no sense whatsoever.
Beal & Booker are essentially the same player.
Booker & Durant itself was weird because they’re both better in ISO situations. This team lacked a passer/playmaker. A two way point guard that distributes the ball and a Big that they actually play through.
But I’ve always said, and I will say it again. If Devon Booker is your leader, you will never win a championship. He’s a ball Hog and an average defender at best.
Beal needs to be trade for bench players and bigs you need to spend on that 45 million or whatever he makes on roll players and get a Pg
I feel strongly that the Suns and maybe even this YouTube channel (resources depending) need to hire at least one, preferably multiple, comparative analysts. What's that, you might wonder. It's someone who keeps track of what other teams have done which has worked, why those things have worked, and how the Suns might learn from all of those successes as well as failures. Granted this is very fastidious and time-consuming process, but I think it's essential in order to stay current with a dynamic, ever-changing league. Ideally you'll also want at least one person in the administration who is a bit of a maverick / mad scientist (think Phil Jackson or Bill Walsh) who might introduce ideas, concepts, strategies which eventually turn out to be brilliant and even go on to revolutionize the league itself. At the wider level, comparative analysis makes very good sense when one considers the specific Asian countries managed to get ahead by copying and then adding their own twist to proven successes. Japan, S. Korea and most recently China have all improved dramatically by learning from the successes and failures of the USA and Europe more broadly. A big picture approach, then, is what's needed – not an internally-oriented, shoe-gazing affair which can lead to dead ends, huge speed humps, missteps, and unnecessary detours all of which dramatically hinder real progress. If I were Ishbia, I"d funnel a bunch of $$ to this purpose – there is no restriction on how many brilliant advisors and analysts you can hire in order to achieve the greatest amount of success. Hell, maybe even AI could help at this point.
Durant would not be the person to talk about continuity. He thought he could just jump to team to team and just form a super team and win the finals. Durant is finally realizing what everyone else knows that continuity is a given to win championships. We just need to ignore Durant. How about saying I screwed up. My way doesn’t work…
Bradley beal was our mvp in our last 15 games or so when we were trying to avoid play in. Kd is too old and due for a big extension that we can’t afford, if you need someone to go he should be the one
I think we underestimated the turnover this roster went through. Plus the trade deadline, there was a lot of turnover there. I think we need to run it back. We got a core now and just build around it.
Well just do the math. Beal played 53 games, 6 of which were 30pt games. So thats a 30 pt game within 8 games he was healthy. But as soon as he would get his rhythm, he’d get injured again and be completely sidelined and come back lacklustre and out of rhythm. How can you develop continuity after that kind of season. And then he was playing catch up because he was lacking in everything. Which explains the turnovers in the playoffs. He was forcing everything to play at the level of everyone else. So I believe he comes into next season as the Bradley Beal we expected him to be this season.
I know this going to upset many Sun's fans but they really should consider or at least look into Booker and his lack of inconsistency through out the season and to buy trading him to see what can you get for him, perhaps look to see if can get someone like Donovan Mitchell and Jarrett Allan from the Cave's

This is new owner syndrome at its worst…sorry Ishbia but fantasy basketball is a lot different then actual NBA roster construction. Blow this roster up before you fall into a gradual deeper losing hole. Booker and Durant will give you lots of 1st round picks and solid side pieces. Draft good and hope will gradually come back. Really missing Bridges ,Cam, and 4 round picks…all we needed is a josh Hart for this team
