Standing him in the corner isnāt good process but itās also hard to put a guy who canāt make a layup much less a jumpshot in positions to succeed offensively.

i absolutely do not think any adjustments need to be made for russ other than playing him less and giving him less of a green light to shoot.
he has not just been bad on the perimeter in this series. he has been god awful at the rim. please do not spend time trying to figure out how to get *russ* going

took this man 5 games to realize putting westbrook in the corner is a horrible idea
listen i understand the thought process -> a shot goes up, nobody’s boxing out westbrook from the perimeter so he can crash the glass for an offensive rebound opportunity, or cut for a lob, but dear lord there’s 24 seconds on the clock and getting a shot let alone a rebound as a 6’2 guard over 7’0 bigs isn’t always a given. put norm/harden there, we have a top 10 playmaker of all time and ty’s playing him like mann in game 6 except there’s no rudy to take advantage of

Who would have thought turning a playmaker into a shooter wouldn’t have worked?

Nah man, you had the whole season for that.
F off to the Lakers.

Westbrook made those 3s and layups a lot in the regular season games. His playoff performance has been a disaster. When a player is playing bad donāt play him in critical games. That is Ty Lueās fault. He may be backing up his team but that doesnāt get the win. The win is what matters in playoff games.
A major reshuffle is needed for next season.

Lue has the hardest coaching gig in the league lol. I wouldnāt be surprised if this same teams comes back and hes like fuk this and quits.
Use him as a screener & Let him bring the ball up more
PG tries to do too much & Harden is getting picked up full court. Having them do more Off ball makes it easier to get to their spots.

I donāt know why donāt they make him set screens and work from there. Since the lakers stint people have been clamoring for it but no coach does that. That seems logical and will make people actually guard him. Or give him the ball and ask harden to screen. I donāt know I may be dumb to not see something else but this is clearly not working.
