The Minnesota Timberwolves have humiliated the Suns and swept them out of the first round of the playoffs, putting Kevin Durant’s future very much in doubt.
Hopefully this new era of basketball will be the start the era of fair competition. Nuggets , thunder and timberwolves showed that you can compete without making a super team . Instead of teaming up with other superstars Trust the process and improve together as team
Player empowerment was one of the worst things to ever happen to the league. These players are straight up fleecing these teams, knowing they aren’t bringing the trophy home.
First of all, KD needs to go clean shaven. Shave his head. Shave all of his facial hair. KD's a baller. No doubt. But, I think, the miles is a bit much now. KD is a good 2nd or 3rd or even a 4th piece on a team that can use a KD. KD is not a leader to win or will his team to victories. KD will do what he can to win games. KD is fine being not the top banana. It would be a shame for KD to retire and not win another chip.
Hopefully him and LeBron both exiting with only one combined win in the first round ends the whole super team era for good. If you look at the last 3 champs since the Lakers in the bubble, it’s the Bucks, Warriors and Nuggets. All 3 teams built themselves organically around one transcendent player and relied more on team chemistry and unselfishness over sheer talent to win.
LBJ the 🐐 for those suffering from low IQ naive syndrome and KD are more like a “plumber” than Jerry West and those real men who cared about winning not stacking the deck/stats/celebrations for every tiny thing while still losing mucmore than winning.
So repeat exactly how the Phoenix Suns screwed themselves over big time. Huh??? And maybe Lebron and Durant can team up somewhere to cost teams more draft picks and therefore their futures…
You don’t chase rings you let the rings come to you. Kind of like not chasing a girlfriend. When you chase it’s usually to late and stays out of reach. Golden state was a lucky for Durant to win those rings.
