Why are we not running plays that require players to move, setting off ball screens, pin downs, moving the ball around the perimeter, etc.?
Where are our players supposed to go when Mitchell is running a high pick and roll? This is not on the players, if the play call was a high pick and roll, then clearing out is what they’re supposed to do. It’s such a stale offensive strategy, and effectively freezes out your other players.
The paint is already clogged, they’re playing essentially 4 bigs against us and we’re not moving the ball and generating open looks for anyone. Other coaches would find a way to go small and punish them for going with 4 bigs.
There is no flow to our offense and that’s why no one is hitting shots. Everything is out of rhythm for us. There are no go to sets that work for us it is all on the guards to create.

What’s frustrating is if we lose the series, people will point to this game and say we lost the series because Mitchell had no help, and justify him leaving.
When in reality, he’s been a non factor for almost every playoff game he’s played for us, and is a large reason why we lost last year, and is a big reason this has to go to game 7.
