  1. Bill simmons comming through with a devilish idea here. He is right saying that if Bron would coach himself to a finals he would have a better case against Jordan, but if he fails….

High risk medium to high reward move

  2. All MJ wanted to do was play. He was smart enough to know he couldn't do Phil Jackson's job. Lebron would also have to overcome his own lousy decision-making as GM. It's better for his look to have fall-guys taking the blame, or at least that's what he seems to think.

  3. I'm starting to get the feeling that Lebron will be entering the "Doesn't Know When to Quit" phase of his career before too much longer…

  4. Bill, I'd like you to remind people that Russell also won 5 MVPs. FIVE. And NEVER gets mentioned as best player ever. Never even considered. But Wilt in The Playoffs is. Yeah, I'd like to see LeBron do that… but we all know LeBron will ALWAYS leave himself an out to blame if things don't work out. Too calculating.

  5. From LeGM to LeCoach? That would be a step down for LeBalco 🤣🤣🤣 MJ never lost 6 finals too, here is something that makes the goat convo more interesting 🤣🤣🤣

  6. I've been saying that for years since in effect he's been calling the shots for at least a decade or more, I was wondering why they didn't just make it official and make him the player head coach.

  7. Lebron wont bench himself, so no its a bad idea. He also wont play defense, and tends to be overly critical of others….the team needs a leader that will bench him. Michael Jordan retired because he wouldn't play for anyone else…but mike was able to adapt his game to a coach
    Regardless of how he felt.

  8. Players can’t be coaches anymore under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement. This is a non-starter.

  9. The Loser there would be Lakers fans because then they'd have to actually have to put blame on the players and roster construction

  10. Lebron’s logical next step is to prove that he really is smarter than all his coaches and become the league’s first player/coach in decades (was the last one Bill Russel🤔)At some age 45+ why not give it a go🤔. It’d be entertainment and as long as the Lakers are entertaining, competitive, & making coin that’s all that matters in Tinseltown 🤔👍😎
