Well shit. New territory, trailing a series for the first time in a really long time. They did what we’re so often used to the Nuggets doing: were clutch.
Also genuinely fuck off Mike Conley. That’s all
Hey the Avs lost game 1 and came back with 4 straight. Nugs can do it b
The wolves fans lurking in this sub is so cringey. Loser mentality
Yo… we gotta give MPJ more shots
More minutes for Reggie Jackson are needed.
It’s 1 game. We’ll be ok. Really bad game. Kick to the mouth. They will step up
I’m done being mad. Nuggets in 6.
Didn’t know we were enemies with Wolves fans
It’s tough to win when your literally facing Jordan

If I have to hear how old Anthony Edwards is again
If the Nuggets 3-ball doesn’t fall, this series is over. They are packing the paint, and every bucket is a grind.
1. Murray can’t shake loose
2. Jokic’s decision-making and concentration isn’t gr8 rn.
3. AG on defence has been terrible.
4. KCP is too small for ANT and MPJ is too slow. Who else is going to defend him from the starting 5?
5. Having no backup centre for this matchup is a disaster.
Is it just me or does Anthony Edwards push off a lot?
It’s just game 1, The Nuggets will win game 2. If they don’t, then that’s when I’ll be very worried
Braun played an awesome defensive game
Ant killed us. This is the finals matchup. Nuggets needed that wake up call. Can’t wait for game 2
Guys, breathe. Still have 6 opportunities to pull in 4 wins.
What’s kinda making me doomer, is that this felt like a game we usually win, and we got absolutely out played down the stretch. That was supposed to be a situation where we shine… hmm 🧘♂️
Meh. We got this!
This loss will haunt me
we suck
Without fact checking turnovers, does it feel like Jokic has tuned out a bit this season compared to last?
I think one important thing is jamals pick and roll passing has been absolutely awful.
Oh dang, just noticed we got mundered lmao
Every time we lose I just remind myself we have Zeke Nnaji locked up 4 x 8 million and know things will be fine
Couple of thoughts about T-Wolves:
– Jaden was 0/7, he’s gonna hit some shots next games
– Mike Conley was a +20 with 10 assists, at some point there’s gonna be some extra work put towards neutralizing him. Bruce Brown did the dirty work last year, there’s gotta be a step up this year
– Naz was amazing down the stretch for them and there has to be some scheming done to sever portions of his impact
Couple of thoughts about the Nuggets:
– key to the series for Jok is putting KAT and Rudy into foul trouble and attacking those guys more physically, can’t have lethargic games. Most of those 7 turnovers were just awful
– Jamal has to find some rhythm and start one game right so he can find a stable scoring input
– felt like CB did better stuff with Ant than KCP at times and wouldn’t mind exploring such minutes
I hope the guys dial it up
We need daddy Vlatko to come back 🥲
I know it’s just game 1 but I’m not sure what’s happening with the Nuggets team but this entire season they haven’t played like a well oiled machine they were the year before. Slow starts every game, Murray shooting himself and the team out of games, Jokic with uncharacteristic turnovers, KCP fairly tame from deep, bench can’t be relied on consistently (known problem). Idk the team just seems uninterested for some reason. Almost how can you not shake off the post championship hangover 1 year later. Wolves won’t forgive being down double digits.
I’m not sure what has to change but at some point players just have to make their shots. Murray does not seem to be 100% or even close to it and if he is the 2nd option then I’m not sure we can beat the timberwolves.
Good thing it’s first to four
Why’s this micah nori guy so likeable ffs
Best of 7 series. Gotta step it up.

The Nuggets have to treat this series like it’s the finals, plain and simple. Because the teams the rest of the way do not pose as much of a challenge as this one.
Yup. I knew Malone would drop this game. Cannot wait till this goof is fired.
CB should’ve been on Ant more instead of KCP
Half of you sound like Lakers fans and their moral victories I’m not gonna lie
Shoot, this was the one game I wasn’t able to follow along with. We’ll get em next game
Can’t believe we lost to the bad guy in that one Adam Sandler movie
The Wolves really did well smothering Murray. He has to respond with a better game because without him, we lose this series.
I think we just came out lazy and confused. Def getting the next one.
We really must have made it, so many haters dropping by to pay their respect 🫡
Wolves fans wanna talk trash – sure go ahead you deserve it.
What fucking audacity do these fair weather wasteland breeding lakers fans have to talk trash.
The only good thing about tonight is that some random let me sit in his McLaren.
This is what I’ve been trying to get you guys to see.. Incompetent coaching still will always lose..
Good thing it’s best out of seven. Nuggets can play so much better than what we’ve seen thus far. All it takes is to stop falling behind by double digits in the first quarter. My prediction is Jamal will be his best self in game 2.
