Will it be good or bad that Chet would have to deal with Zubac for a series before seeing Jokic? I feel like that wouldn’t be good. We know he can get warn down and the breaks really help him. Hate to think he has to bang with Zubac and then go straight to Jokic.
Luka playoff career shooting splits 46/35/70.. I am scared of facing Luka, but it needs to be put in perspective. He often shoots poorly for most of the game but hoists up so many shots that he ends up with 35pts. He certainly has a ridiculous career highlight film of great clutch moments & a bunch of legendary individual games, but over the course of a 7 game series, he hardly is invincible.
Exciting season, last day of season and much still on the line, the thunder is getting the breaks. I say clippers because dort has harden number. Pg is streaky, westbrook isn’t the same. Bigs of Dallas is a problem
I think the Mavs are the easier match-up. We have great perimeter defenders to put on Luka & Kyrie, meanwhile their centers are not super big & strong, and don't have great post games to be able to punish Chet. Zubac would be able to play against Chet similarly to how JV did, and I'm confident that with the energy and effort the Thunder play with, they will win if the strategy is make Kyrie/Luka beat us. On the flip side, Dallas has much worse defenders for SGA/Dub than the Clippers have. If Zubac is able to be 80% of what JV was for the Pelicans with PG and Harden as creators, that's a much better version of what we played against with the Pelicans, and Mann/PG can guard us way more credibly than Dallas.
A healthy Kawhi with all their co-stars will give Thunder the run for the money. Otherwise, Thunder should be able to get past either one of them. Thunder should make the playoff last year, if not Chet's injury, that kept him out the entire season. That's why it's not surprising to me when Thunder ends up in the first place in the West this year. If Jamaal Murray is not healthy, the Thunder can even make it to the NBA Final.
Can't avoid talking about the Suns, slow moving disasters are always fascinating! I think they should move the franchise to another city and pretend none of this ever happened. Thanks for the pod guys!

Probably true but dallas has bigs that limit our drives while Zubac isn’t a rim protector.
