Wolves have a chance for a title. I would take them over OKC/Mavs, I would take them over Celtics/Knicks too. I think they are the best defensive team, and have a lot of offensive talent with Ant/Kat and a rotation of guys who can all score 15 points. This team is legit
Nuggets really have no rim deterrence for their team and if ANT passes his guys its clear sailing to the rim. Jokic can't stop him and ANT is too good to not pass the first guy
The nuggets are good still, but it was pretty clear from the regular season and Vs the lakers that they weren’t the same dominant team as last year.
Last year you could feel almost 2017 warriors vibe from the nuggets. They were unstoppable, you could take a game from them if you’re lucky, but they were gonna beat you down in 4 or 5 games.
This year the fact that the lakers even though are talented, they are a horrible team in tactics, in personal changes, in certain situations they are super lacking. So the fact that the lakers this year we’re leading for about 70% of the total time in each game is insane.
I don’t think the nuggets beat the wolves unless there’s a freak injury.
The wolves are clearly dominant on both ends and apparently have MJ reincarnate on their side so yeah.
And even jokic looks a little tired this year, last year you could joke about him being unhealthy but he’s clearly worse this year even with the 30 points and 20 assist he has.
There’s just a difference in how they feel. It’s not like the nuggets can’t go back to back. But the fact that the wolves won in Denver is a statement. And their star player just did his regular thing. They couldn’t stop him and the wolves could slow down the offence of the nuggets just enough.
We needed people to step up offensively in the second half and help Edwards. KAT was the first, followed by Conley and then Reid took over. It was a bad day with the refs. Jokic was throwing elbows left and right and we were charged techs for staring at them the wrong way. Murray I don't think he is going to have such a bad half again but neither do I think Jayden and NAW are going to have 1 of 7 from the three combined again. It's a dogfight and all the games I think are going to come down to the last possessions. Also I want to see if Jokic can continue playing almost the whole game like this. Nothing was easy for him and there was no help from the bench. We were throwing at him KAT, Gobert, Naz and Kyle. I mean even if Denver comes out as the winner of the series, I wonder how much gas is going to be left in the tank
This is peak playoffs, two really deep teams with relatively young cores. I hope this goes to 7 games and establishes a deep seeded rivalry in the west for both of these teams
Love to see Nuggets facing adversity… Can't imagine Twolves shoot almost 59% again next game. Couple of fortuitous backboard shots in 4th quarter too…. should be a fun series although Niggets bench is a concern

Denver were very unimpressive against LA. Look to be in a heap of trouble against a much better opponent.
