This is excellent news. Rodney was a nepotism hire, and Scotty was considered one of the worst head coaches in the league during his tenure. A less experienced coach like Billups needs a competent staff around him. I hope they get some new guys in there that we can be excited about. I wonder who will be the new lead assistant

Brooks was for me a âmehâ hire. Big name, but i agree with most who say he isnt that great. But as an assistant Iâm indifferent. Rodney Billups on the other handâŠ. Oof. I understand nepotism and all that, it is honestly how most folks get a job in the first place, but he brings NOTHING to the team. If you wanna hire your family/friends, they better be capable or they better be put somewhere they wonât actually influence anything.

good news, now lets hire some assistants who are actually good at basketball. chauncey’s only strength seems to be that players like him and listen to him, now we need some people to make some good ideas come out of chauncey’s mouth
