[Grange] Magic have depth, potentially star level high-end guys & plenty of team-building options. They wanted to see what their gaps were in a playoff scenario & now they know: a point guard who can really shoot; someone who can play with Suggs & create space for Wagner and Paulo

    I.e. don’t lowball Quickley.

Also, they’re a prime Gary Trent team to take him.

I’d say there’s a 70% chance of Gary heading to Orlando. He’s gonna be great there! Idk how a sign and trade would work, but I’d do that in a heartbeat if it meant we got a pick back.

Malik Monk might as well have a giant Magic shaped target on his back all off-season

Grange, lmao, everyone knew this since the beginning of the season. Magic FO, casual NBA fans, etc, except for Grange, he’s always late and acts like an analyst.

  5. The best you’d be getting in a Gary S&T would be Joe Ingles expring (11M) and a pair of 2nds, which I’d be fine with, Ingles Is a great shooter, good vet, and a high IQ player, gives an expring contract for the deadline, and some 2nds for our trouble, Orlando needs shooting and can afford to give Gary around 20M, which imo is an overpay, but again, they can afford it. They own two 2025 1sts and 2nds, and I’d gladly take the 2nds, we have no 2nd next year.

Raps will match any deal for IQ (whether it’s an overpay or not) so we won’t be losing him.

I think IQ will be offered something like 130/5 by the Raps and if another team sends him a qualifying offer worth more, Raps will match. That said, I don’t think IQ will get a QO, since I feel the Raps will offer him the most

What good does it do for the raps to potentially help a team in their conference that has the possibility of being good for a long time? Dumb question I know but I’d rather not make a move that in 3-5 years time we regret come playoffs.
