This is a message to other teams you can watch but you can’t touch JI is untouchable and he’s not going anywhere anytime soon.

I hope we keep the Minister of Defense, he is a unique player that is a perfect 6th man, in today’s game. He really had some great showings this season, excited to see him ready to go week 1 next year.

“Sign for the veteran minimum, JI.”

  4. I usually always side with the player and understand any that get the most money they can on their contracts. The teams dont have much loyalty, and its a business. Get your money while you can.

That being said, JI has gotten paid **a lot** of money, and hasn’t played very much basketball since signing that contract. If there was ever a time where I would say its up the to the player taking a team friendly contract, this would be it.

I love the camaraderie, but I really hope we see some new faces. Goga probably leaves for FA, he’s earned a decent contract and a backup job at least. Chuma is obviously gone. I really like Gary and Markelle, but they are locks to miss 25+ games a year along with Dell and Isaac. I really wouldn’t mind moving on from Ingles either…. Safe to say we probably should see some new faces this year.

  6. Honestly I’d love to see JI starting at the 5. He’s so much better at defense than WCJ, and he’s been very similar on offense.
