Hire a coach that you believe in, and support his philosophy by letting him participate in all personnel decisions! LBJ’s salary is too much of a hit against the cap, turn him loose and rebuild! AD disliked Coach Ham because he was the first coach to hold him accountable for his non availability since he’s been in LA! He spent more time in street clothes and sunglasses than he spent on the court! Now that Coach Ham is gone, he’ll be on the sideline for 50 out of 82 games again, I’d trade him as well!
Rebuild with a new Coach and players that want to listen to his direction. Mark Jackson would be the best candidate, but he won’t get interviewed because he’s a Christian, son of God!
JJ Reddick is your coach, he knows the game of basketball better than any of the other candidates being considered; he is a long term coach that will not cost you initially, hes a players coach and will manage the locker room. We must get two real bigs next to AD. (ie 2021 chip) we need a six man (Bobby Portes, Dramond etc.) We need a two way guard to contend with Murry and Anthony Edwards….. Demar/Caruso/Donovan/Keli Ubrea/Marcus Smart/JaMonte Murray/ Brogden etc. We have more than enough assets and picks to make this happen.

If you are coaching a lebron james, michael jordan, shaq, kobe, KD, steph, etc. And you're trying to win championships, why would you hire mediocre to terrible coaches. You dont. Why would the lakers hire a first time coach to coach someone on thr level as lebron.
