Playing heavy minutes under Tom. Thankful our bench provides valuable minutes. I think our starters haven’t played over 40 minutes this playoffs

I told someone, it’s not if someone blows a tire out on the Knicks, it’s when it happens. Thibs, thanks for the title, but you suck as a coach (excluding him slightly in the D-Rose injury only because other people should have also corrected how Rose lands in a game.)

Tatum played 41 minutes in G1 and G2 and 39 in G3 of the 1st round

Jayson Tatum played 41 mins in Games 1 & 2, and Derrick White played 41 in Game 4 against the Heat.

That’s it. Luckily, we’ve had a lot of blowout wins so far this postseason

Now OG Anunoby is out for the game due to hamstring injury.

  5. This game is wild. Will there be anyone left standing at the end of the series?

  6. Come on lol, playing 40+ MPG come playoff time is literally what any NBA starter should be capable of doing.

Knicks are just getting unlucky. It’s that simple.

Celtics have had a ton of playoff runs ruined by injuries (Hayward a few times, Brown, Timelord, KG, IT, etc…). Not including Kyrie because our team was literally better without that bum.

Hopefully this is the year where we can get a good amount of rest and some luck on our way to the Finals. Come on KP get well soon!

Pretty funny watching these two subpar teams play so hard to only have their perineums ripped apart by the Celtics.

This Knicks team reminds me of the Vikings a few years back (2022) where they keep ending up on the right side of the win column with close games. Knicks are 6-1 in clutch games this postseason and the Vikings were 11-0 in one score games that season. We will see what happens when they hit some real competition.

  9. Idk how much I’d go after Thibs on this topic, but I am grateful that Kornet, PP, Hauser, and even Tillman are able to chip in with good energy when needed. It’s helps to not max out your stars, particularly when one is injured. Now if/when the Celts make the finals, that bench rotation is gonna shorten up real quick, as it should.

This doesn’t matter as much now because of the day off between all games from here in (and sometimes more).

Thibs always struggled with this and so will the Knicks. That said, it’s not like their bench is awful – Achiuwa came in and did great tonight.

And people get on Joe for leaving the starters in late in games

They’ve been doing this for months. They’re used to it, frankly i wonder how our fitness levels will be in a potential ECF against these guys.

Classic Thibodeau team. They will be like the Derrick Rose Bulls, will give Knicks fans a few good years of hope then flame out due to injuries

Grinding players into dust is the Thibs way. And the commentary is always surprised about the Knicks “bad luck” on injuries lately
