ESPN Tomorrow: Jokic says Nuggets don’t have a chance at beating the Timberwolves!

  2. ChocoChowdown

To be fair to Jokic he should have won it last year. All time voter fatigue example for that one.

  3. He’s ducking the MVP races because of the interview obligations but they keep dragging him back to the podium.

  4. The truly great ones bounce back under pressure. Jokic still has a lot of time left to even up the series, Denver can still win

  5. Kinda wild how much people argue over MVP and All-NBA and at the same time talk about how the regular season doesn’t matter.

  6. UnderratedNightmare

How the fuck are people taking this as he gave up? Lmao. Do people really need everything written out for them? He is saying he likes chips more than MVPs. How you all twisted it is beyond me.

  7. LukaDoncicfuturegoat

Jokic says he was happy when Embiid robbed him.

Jokic is too honest lol. Translation:

“With this award in hand, I can now guarantee that we are not making a comeback in this series. I must give this new toy to my horses ASAP.”

I’ve only watched playoffs, did SGA deserve it?

He knows the curse of regular season MVP not getting a ring. We haven’t had one in almost 10 years now

So what we are saying is…. a different MVP winner next year and a Denver chip in 2025? Numbers don’t lie to date…. he doesn’t win a chip when he wins regular season MVP 😛

Shaq gonna double down and say Jokic definitely didn’t deserve it because he didn’t even want it

Only losers care about regular season awards. Cough Embiid

  14. They gotta show up in game 3 and potentially dominate.

I don’t think he’s giving up, but he’s smart enough to cover his bases “just in case” he loses it’ll lessen the barrage of criticism coming his way. It’s his way of indirectly implying he does not deserve the MVP if he didn’t win the championship. He saw what Embiid had to put up with and he’s probably thinking, “Damn how can I enjoy my vodka riding horses when my phone is getting blown up with a bunch of hate messages.”

Its why I love having Jokic on our team. He doesn’t care about any of these personal accolades. He appreciates them but he only cares about winning with his teammates. Wouldn’t be surprised if his individuals awards stay in boxes at his house and the only ones on display are team awards.

Te real MVP to his team was, and continues to be, Jalen Brunson.

Just a humble rancher who wants to go home

I mean when was the last time an MVP made it won the ring  or made it to the finals in the same year?

As a Nuggets fan, this Wolves series is extremely painful to watch.

That said, I’d rather lose with Jokic than win with almost any other superstar in this league. I love pretty much everything about the guy.

He shouldn’t lost his MVP last year.

  22. Consistent_Being903

Respect to Jokic for earning that MVP. After saying that SGA shoulda got it over him.

Jokic comes tomorrow and has stats of 65-15-1 on 85% shooting in a close win and say “I’m not too happy, didn’t get my teammates involved.”
