We are like the Lions or the Browns of the NBA. Maybe one day we will be a good team

I just realized this is an extremely disingenuous graphic because it doesn’t even count the Chris Paul New Orleans Hornets era. Our win percentage is .373 with those years. Still rough but puts us 19th.

I wonder if this stat is including the years before 2013. Even if, that’s a little over 20 years and considerably new for a sports franchise. Look at some of the others around. Timberwolves been a franchise since ’89, and gosh the Brewers are over 50+ years. Nothing to be ashamed about.

Truly a sad franchise and the future doesn’t look any brighter really. We’ve just never had anyone truly great running the show. Takes a GM/Team president with a clear long term vision and an owner with patience and deep pockets to turn around a small market franchise like this. Maybe someday

Whats crazy is that during that time we have exclusively chased a “win-now” strategy under the Benson’s(I presume that is the timeframe cause that’s the only way the numbers work).
First with AD, then with Zion and Griff.
If anyone ever needed proof that the way to success in the NBA as a small market is patience and not accelerating the timeline, look at the Pelicans.
