CLEVELAND CAVALIERS VS. BOSTON CELTICS GAME 3 INSTANT REACTION
The Cleveland Cavaliers shocked the world in Game 2, beating the Boston Celtics by 24 points to even up the series at one game a piece.
Game 3 is in Cleveland, and a crazy RMFH crowd is sure to play a role.
Donovan Mitchell had 23 first half points for the Cavs, but Jayson Tatum and Jrue Holiday also showed up in a big way and the Celtics held a 57-48 lead at halftme.
Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, Caris Levert and Max Strus need to provide more if the Cavs are going to climb out of their halftime hole.

What has happened to Garland? Honestly I wonder if his vision is OK or if he is just overwhelmed. Bickerstaff needs to wake up and pull him out. He got a nice bag but he's playing like trash. I hope he gets it together soon.

Mobley needs to focus on getting some rebounds instead of shooting that stupid three ball that has no chance. Garland, Okoro and Strus need to go.
I disagree with your criticism of Levert. 15 and 6 rebounds off the bench is nothing to scoff at. Redirect that to Okoro. 1 for 7 with 2 points is a FAIL for a starter.

Let's be real, Boston didn't show up for game 2. I wouldn't be putting all, or even any of my eggs in the basket of them not showing up 3 more times. This is what's known as reversion to the mean.
Mitchell is the real deal, he needs some help. These players around him have to step up and away from just some inexcusable inconsistency. The Celtics have nothing to worry about in this series but Mitchell and they’re playing like it.

The c’s showed composure and seemed like they expected to win the Cavs were guarded looking on their heels and seemed like they were hoping to win another reflection of the coach

Donovan was the not the best player on the court. He plays one half of the ball, wins no contested rebounds and is a worse passer than Tatum. A better scorer only

Garland average nba PG. not playing like a max player. Tatum and donovan will cancel each other out. It will be up to darius to at least match 80% of Jaylen Browns impact. Boston has so much fire power.
