what realistic players would y’all be open to trading #1 for ?

Zion would prob be the worst player I’d consider swapping for

It shouldn’t be , unless a bonafide superstar asks out .

I mean, it should at least be on your radar if you’re doing your job, right? But then again, even if we *were* considering trading the pick, I suppose it’d be better to deny it since that could drive up its trade value. So this is probably the right thing to say either way.

In any case, the fact that we got the top pick definitely makes the offseason possibilities a lot more interesting. I’d been thinking before that we might try to make a run at Claxton in free agency and potentially try to fit him into our John Collins trade exception (which would mean we could then put together a package around our pick and trade for a star wing) — but if we draft a big like Sarr at #1, then that would presumably mean Claxton’s off the table, so then who would y’all think we’d want to go after with that $23M trade exception instead (if anyone)?

I’d trade it to the Wizards for 2, 26, and a top 3 protected pick next year (turns unprotected the following year).

Fucking stupid, of course it should be on the radar, evaluating every option is literally your job
