To put Alexandre Sarr being 6-11 3/4 without shoes with a 37-inch vertical leap into perspective, Dwight Howard in 2004 measured in at 6-foot-9 without shoes and had a 35 1/2-inch vertical leap. You don’t see big men jump that high very often.

9-2 Standing Reach, 9-10in Hands(?)
Lob Threat? Vertical Spacing? Shotblocking?
He doesnt have the traditional production and polish of your usual #1 overall pick but the athleticism/size is top tier.
Get ready to lean Trae’s lob pass, buddy.
You guys remember back when Clint could jump how deadly that Lob/Floater Dilemma was for opposing defenders.
Some of that has been missing.
For a comparison, Wemby has a 40-in vertical but they said that he would out jump Wilt Chamberlin too. Personally, I think that Sarr might last longer than Wemby. I’ve never seen a 7’4″ player go through 40+ games without foot problems.
Basically, 7ft to 7.1ft with shoes on is MORE than enough to dominate in the NBA. If Sarr can get his weight up to 250, I think he can bully ball both Wemby and Chet.
To put what I’m saying into prospective, Embiid measured the EXACT height as Sarr without shoes on.
