How The OKC Thunder Keeps Destroying NBA Narratives

  1. I think the thunder should really be looking into trading for Deni Avdija. Big guy that's great in d has good skills in passing and penetrating the paint and can shoot the 3. Only 23 yo I think he fits there timeline perfectly

  2. You deserve more subscribers. It’s nice to see a page debunk narratives rather than create them, along with a precise breakdown of current playoff success

  3. I don't understand why the Thunderless don't get more help for rebounding they need A banger inside to handle a Denver or a Boston to grow with the team

  4. Lets be real mavs dominated the game for 3 QTR.Shai keot them in the game nothing from Chet or dort.In the 4th qtr mavs just missed everything stopped playing.Even the defense which was great until then.Gave OKC even offensiv rebounds.OKC wasnt good at all luka and kyrie played bad and gave it away

  5. Great level-headed take on OKC yet it's spot on. While agreed they're the team of the future, they're here now. If we can get past Dallas, I'd actually prefer Denver as we match up better against them.

  6. Folks thought the 57 win Thunder were a weaker #1 seed than the 53 win Nuggets?

Take any of the top 3 seeds in the west, and they'll mash all the 40 win teams Denver did en route to that championship.

  7. But but but but but this can't be happening they are too young inexperienced and too small 🤔

  8. Great video as usual and good point bringing up the health/availability aspect here. That’s luck to a degree but the youth part might play a role in it too. They just can go the distance while always playing hard unlike some veteran teams.

While they dare to let the Mavs role players shoot and came away with it despite PJ Washington making them pay, I’m mostly concerned about their half court offense. The offensive system just looks unrecognizable. Go back to what got you here.

drive, cut, screen off-ball, kickout. Just look like they're panicking and while Dort is not a good finisher, he really looked afraid to go for it. I really miss the lob and baseline cut game which opened up the outside shot as well.
Maybe sitting Josh so much plays a bigger role then the casual viewer realizes. Even a lot of Thunder fans are happy that Giddey doesn’t play as much as the general assumption an narrative was and still is he doesn’t fit anymore.
I hope they find a way to give him minutes and he isn’t a defensive liability.

Hope our Thunder realize they need more coordinated offense as they did all season since even the great SGA can’t hit as many middies as he did last game night in and out.

What a joy to watch this group who is as close as you can get as a team!
Can’t remember the last time I wasn’t afraid of the next as I am just embracing and enjoying this ride and am super proud of what they already accomplished. Every win from now on is just a plus to an already exceptional season.

On a sidenote I want to see a few more minutes of Kenny Hustly just to throw his body around and bring a little bit more chippieness. 4-5 mins of Biz could also help avoiding offensive boards in critical situations as this is and will be a problem going forward.

    Thunderup⚡️Loudcity awaits a critical game 5
