To me, Jalen Brown should be the real #1. If Jalen Brown got traded to the rockets, he would avg 30/night. Tatum is not that guy. He's a star but not a super star. They can't keep both due to budget restrictions. The problem is that the C's don't have the courage to trade Tatum even though it would setup their franchise for the next 10 yrs with the haul they would get back.

The Celtics should be the runaway favorites to win it all. Problem is they are their own worst enemy. They make every play difficult when it doesn't need to be. Whether thats putting up a contested 3 early in the shot clock or becoming stagnant and playing one on one basketball at the end of games. They are way too talented to have such a one dimensional offense.
If the threes aren’t falling Boston has no offense. It’s literally just iso ball and contested stepback threes. They’re basically a younger version of the Clippers, but lack the real toughness championship teams show. They also play down to their competition too much imo

I'm a big Celtic fan – and yes they have won by huge margins. But if the threes are not clicking on any particular night, they resort to one-on-one basketball. I've seen that all season long. And they have a load of talent to win most of those, too. But now they're going to start playing better teams, who will defend better. That is their weakness and it will be their downfall. Unless the big guy comes back in time.
And the chance of his team winng 1 was always 0 percent when the season started.
