Why are you thinking about Melo rn lol

  2. itsme10082005

No way they get past the Celtics, but oh my God, the sheer joy i would get seeing him attend a NY home game and Jokic dropping a triple double on him.

  3. Away_Ease_8876

Denver vs. Knicks in the finals would be epic. That would show him.

  4. OmarRizzo

I’ve only been a fan since the late 90s, I thought jokic was the only player for Denver who’s worn 15?

    /s

  5. Mysterious_Universe1

    Jokic took his Denver legacy
    Brunson took his NY legacy
    Only Syracuse legacy left lol…

  6. Idk why this is posted here but Spike Lee def gettin fat

I never thought Melo was all that. We had a good run, I guess – but dude never loved the city.

The crazier part was them giving the number to Anthony Randolph first…

Melo has to the most overrated “superstar” of that era. If this were football he’d be the “Hall of
very Good” but in basketball he’s a sure Hall of Famer – even just for his college career and Olympic team contributions.

  10. Hey hey no need to be like that. Everybody is welcome to enjoy basketball in its purest form out in Denver.

Good lord, get over it weirdo. Melo lives in New York, his son plays basketball in New York. He can do what he wants. Always have love for Melo.

Melo is exact opposite of Joker. Shoot first, ball hog, that never actually won anything.

Melo wants all the respect while putting in zero effort.

    Respect is earned, not given.

  14. This would not even be a discussion if Melo hadn’t left Denver so viscously, they probably would have brought him back at the end of his career and his number would have been retired so quickly. Denver showers so much love on their athletes. It’s super depressing how Melo could be so oblivious to his actions and not take any responsibility and then wonders why he’s erased. It’s like a person having a breakdown at the end of a party, insulting everyone and shattering plates and peeing on the living room run and Fighting other guests and then being like “why does it seem like no one wants to remember the guys times I had at the party before the end?! That’s so petty after the good times we had! It’s like they all want to erase the memory of me.” Uh no shit that’s 100% what we want. He leaves Denver goes to NYC, loses his wife (who he in part moved for) makes it out the first round …once (because of jr who he had in Denver)? becomes a pathetic journeyman, it’s amazing NYC loves him so much with his inability to guide that team to victory, he should just be happy with that. And if he really wanted Denver to love him, he would apologize and explain “look I did not handle that close to correctly, and that’s why I lost my number, and I wish I had been better to everyone. I apologize to the fans” Also he would have some backup in terms of all the shady stuff coming out about Karl, and he could explain how his family wanted the move which was like an open secret. He is literally too stupid to understand the pain he caused. What’s the point of going to Syracuse having a college education and not being able to understand the most basic things about the world. NCAA championship is a piece of metal. Enjoy your piece of metal and complain about your piece of cloth in the rafters and stay oblivious, alone, and sad. A brand with no substance.
