Almost forgot that Kawhi basically said heād just be a rental, and the Raptors still traded for him and won a championship. So crazy. I remember wondering whether that championship would be enough for him to stay.
Also, imagine Kawhi didnāt hit that shot vs the 76ers and they lost in the second round before Kawhi left. That trade would be frowned upon so heavily especially with how much Toronto loved Derozan.
