all right guys go ahead Z how are you how are you feeling a couple days after that hard fall and good to go for tomorrow uh yeah feeling good ready to get the game started what’s the kind of the mood around the team as you guys your first game seven a lot of guys first game seven of their careers uh I think everybody is is high we ended practice on a high note um I think everybody’s happy and ready to compete so I think we’ll be ready to go do you have to manage emotions in a game seven or do try to embrace the emotion the moments I don’t know I’ve never been there so this is the first for me so I don’t know I’m I’m going to take it on as it go what’s SN going to be like it be hard for you to sleep you got to be oh no yeah easy like kid on Christmas morning like that’s that’s every game yeah so there’s nothing special about the game seven or game one or the 82 so it’s the same game for me I just I’m just ready to play it you you guys play with a lot of activity on defense in general but when you employ the the strategy of of doubling yic and having everybody fly around to cover does that does that maybe get you guys going a little more maybe early in the game T it might it look like it feel like it that might be the recipe yeah I don’t know man I hope I hope so um you know it definitely wakes us up for sure I mean cuz you got to be on your horses cuz they got like three four shooters that shoot over like 40% so we definitely got to be on high alert you talked a lot about C the other night Chris fin just saying he thought that might have been one of Cat’s best games overall uh just what are your thoughts on the way he’s playing and his importance of this team right now um he’s the best player man so anytime he plays like it probably wasn’t his best game offensively but as as making reads making the right plays he played outstanding um um I said it the other night man when he when he don’t foul we got a chance to win the game a great chance Mike Conley is a guy who’s been in a few of these game sevens he’s missed a shot at the end of one against this same opponent I know you guys want to win for everyone but how much more do you kind of want to be able to win a game like this for mik I want to win for myself yeah yeah I wasn’t with Mike whenever he was playing game seven so that has nothing to do with me um yeah I want to win for myself how do you feel like the sense of urgency was in game six and do you think that was a big factor and you need to duplicate that again for game seven hell yeah I mean if we can duplicate that we’ be in good hands um uh it’s going to be tough man they defend the Champs they got the home court they got the crowd um it’s going to be fun man I’m super excited why do you think this Series has played out this way with so many either blowouts or kind of I mean there haven’t really been any big shots to take the last two minutes um I don’t know man a lot of ups and downs in this series it’s been fun um they blew us out a couple times B B him out a couple times we only had one close game I feel like that was game one so I mean only it’s only right that we have a close game tomorrow you know hopefully anything that you you do pregame or anything like that to try and set the tone you know get guys loose or or whatever you just feel about it noral yeah it’s the same routine man nothing nothing new nothing different just different words in front of them I guess game seven other than that it’s it’s the NBA basketball game do you think that sense of urgency was there in game six simply because you’re facing elimination like it finally it took that to kind of get you guys going yeah for sure and I like the way we responded I love the way that my teammates came out and played the urgency that they played with the the aggressiveness on defense the physicality on defense Rudy played his ass off so like yeah they they definitely showed that they was willing to go to battle when it was um elimination game so I’m ready to see what they going to do tomorrow did you feel that energy really builds as you guys went on 10 run 150 run then to 20 crowd getting yeah for sure the crowd was tackle it the entire game um and the the coaching staff did a great job with the game plan so we just executed it and we was able to come out with the win how do you think your time with Mike Conley as a teammate will stick with you for the rest of your career you guys um you know Mike quiet man he be chilling like I don’t know man he be chilling all the time like he tell me little bits and pieces about like the game like look for this I’ve seen this a lot of stuff to look for but other than that man he just be chilling he go out there and hoop he come to practice and and and and play and he never complain he just a great veteran how much confidence does your mentality change at all in a game seven the win obviously is the the most important thing but you know when guys go out like last year’s step had 50 game seven against the Kings do you do you get more aggressive do you think a little bit differently in a game like that I don’t know Steph probably been in probably 20 game seven um I’ve been in zero so I I don’t know what my Approach is yeah I’m just like I’m going train it like another game I mean I feel like I’m aggressive every game so I mean we’ll see how I come out hopefully I’m making shots I’ll be super aggressive how much confidence can you guys draw from the fact that you’ve come in here in one two games on the road in this series already um that’s behind us so I mean that don’t give us any any any like confidence but I think we’re confident just because we’re a great team and we’re going against another great team and we feel like we just the best team and that’s all the confidence that we need um the two previous games don’t mean anything cuz they beat our ass on our home court so I mean that don’t mean anything it’s right now is just about who going to play better tomorrow
