Unless they are moving him for Booker I dont see any scenario where it would be worth moving Randle imo. Randle just recently came back to CAA as well so I really don’t believe we would be looking to move him

randle is very unlikely to be traded, but if it happens, i have faith that it was the right decision. if randle wants to be a knick, he’ll ask for something closer to $30milAAV, and if he wants more, then the decision becomes much tougher.
Do I want the knicks to trade Randle? No, but one thing we all should realize in sports, there is no such thing as never happening. Do i expect the knicks to trade randle, nope, but no way will I say with certainty he wonāt be
The only way to get a player in the 50 mil tier without trading Josh/Donte is to move Jules. Bogi+Mitch gets us to 35 mil which is in the Donovan Mitchell range, but if there’s real traction to get someone like Booker they have to include Jules unless they trade Donte/Hart. Otherwise it’s not like he’s going to be given away or traded for randos like Jerami Grant. This FO has seen what the team looked like when Jules, OG, and Brunson all played together.
If we move Randle itās because we are getting a superstar big back. Another factor is how his game might have changed post surgery and any potential discount now vs after he has shown what he can do in terms of trade timing.
