Jaylen Brown said the Pacers are a good young team that plays with a lot of energy and passion. “We’ve gotta be ready to go,” Brown said.
This is what scares me for game one. Indy could be gassed from game 7 or they’ll come out flying. We need to see the tone right away; similar to Miami game 1.
We definitely have to tighten up our 3 pt defense for this series

Pacers go as far as Halliburton’s confidence goes. Yes they have other very good players but the difference between them scoring 130+ or 100 is Haliburton. Need Jrue/Derrick to give him hell. Also I’m looking forward to Tatum taking the Siakim matchup.

who remembers how well JB defense was on Pascal during the bubble wonder if we go back to that

Man this series will be just as easy as Cleveland. Sure their offense is good but their defense is horrible, we will score 130 PPG. Stage will be to big for Hali

JB is ready to invest in more real estate in Siakim’s head
They will one hundred percent come out flying, it’s just whether that speed helps them or hurts them. I fully expect us to do what we did to the cavs, just crowd the 3 point line, compete on the glass, cut down on second chance 3s, and play a slow, mucked-up half court game to cut down on the runs and just lean on em possession after possession.
Biggest thing is they want to play similar to how we play in terms of a lot of inside out games, a lot of 3s, except they’re much worse on defense and try to push the pace. They’re the best in the league at effective fg%, they move the ball exceptionally well, but they get murdered on the defensive glass and they give up a lot of fouls.
If the whistles get put away then they’ll be able to hurt us by being physical without giving up fouls, but they’re the worst playoff team in terms of second chance points inside so I expect JT, JB, KP, and Jrue to have a massive series swarming the offensive glass and cleaning up inside. But they do a lot of the “extra pass – 3 -swish” shit that tends to get us in trouble.
