Greeny’s TOP SUCCESS STORIES THIS SEASON: Knicks, Pacers, Magic at the TOP 🙌 | Get Up
back on get up and so Jaylen Brunson and the Knicks their epic playoff run ended in the second half of game seven his run ended with that fractured left hand and after the loss Jaylen Brunson had a blunt assessment when asked if the next season was a success or not you didn’t think this was a successful year right why do you feel that way and how would you evaluate the year did we win the championship did we get close so no that’s just that’s my mindset that’s just how it is okay so that brings us to today’s green list let me start by saying I love what Jaylen Brunson said if that guy’s on my team that’s exactly the tone I want him to set for the entire organization we are not complacent we are not satisfied however it doesn’t mean he’s right the Nick season was absolutely a success not every team that doesn’t win the titles season is a failure in fact I can prove it here are the top five teams that as of right now no matter what else happens their season ends as an enormous success number five the Orlando Magic this was a team that had a magnificent year they went to seven tough games in the first round of the playoffs with a Cleveland team they developed a young star in Pao banaro their future looks extraordinarily bright I would say their season was a big success even though they didn’t win the championship I’m going to put the Minnesota Timberwolves at four with the potential to move massively up obviously all this is pending what winds up happening but if the Timberwolves were to lose in these Western Conference Finals to Dallas their season is still a massive success considering all they overcame all the growth that they did and the fact that they knocked Denver out in a game seven on the road at number three I’ll put the Knicks the Knicks had a terrific season they overcame a ton of injuries they were the two seed when that was not what the expectation was before the season began there’s no question they were better than the sum of their parts no one in their right Minds would call their season a failure even if it ended in some disappointment and number two I put the Oklahoma City Thunder they were the youngest one seed since seeding began in the history of the NBA and they went seven tough games with a team that is playoff tested with Kyrie Irving who was a champion and Luca who has led his team to a Conference Final in the past their season was a terrific success and so has been Indiana’s and I said this on McAfee show yesterday if Indiana gets swept by Boston which I do not expect them to do by the way but even if they do their season is an enormous success this is a young growing team they’ve developed Tyrese halberton into a star they played in a lot of big moments they went into Madison Square Garden and won a tough game seven on the road that’s exactly the way that young teams grow and develop so again this is as of this moment and it is subject to change whatever team wins the championship is obviously going to wind up being the biggest success story of the season but right now these to me are the teams whose season is a success if they don’t win another game the rest of the way Drea go interesting list screening Deep Side my question is why are the Mavericks not on your list if the Mavericks lose this series is their season a huge success this is a team that brought in Kyrie Irving they’ve got Luca they made huge trades around the deadline and came in with these kind of expectations Plus Denver got knocked out of their path if they lose to Minnesota would are you going to go out and say oh yeah this was a huge success nah bro not not over anybody on this list not over anybody on this list I mean again all these things can change if the Mavericks win the championship then of course their season’s a huge success Minnesota vaults to number one easily any team vaults to number one on this list if you win the championship that’s everyone’s ultimate goal what I’m talking about is if the Pacers do not win a single game in these Conference Finals I still think their season is an enormous success you have them number one I i’ probably put OKC or Orlando up there but I’d probably put OKC number one or Minnesota can I movees Minnesota probably be number one over here white press Minnesota right here now can we explain why champ last year they literally were punching each other in a huddle and they didn’t make trades Kyle Anderson’s still there Rudy goar’s still there they were fighting in the Huddle like you think oh my God this team’s going to be a mess no instead what you saw as a team actually Galvanize and get together this year they have become such a great team and their youngest player has become one of their biggest leaders and the question about col Anthony towns and Kenny handle giving up the reign of the franchise face to Anthony Edwards Anthony Edwards said come sit with me at the podium let’s have some fun let’s make some viral videos they have become a real the definition of Team best defense in the league off last year where you thought that thing was blowing up and let’s also mention that A-Rod doesn’t own the team but he sure acts like an owner on the side let out there as well let me make clear why Minnesota belongs exactly where they are this is in the event they do not win another game the bottom line of it is having dispatched of Denver having home court vage against Dallas they should win now I believe if they lose now this will be a bit of a disappointment it will not fall to the category of disappointment they would be about fourth if they lose from this point forward I still think they slot in behind the Knicks behind the Thunder and behind the Pacers if they keep winning then obviously it vaults up it’s a success just being on the list makes them a success but I don’t think they have guaranteed themselves a finish higher than those teams if they don’t keep on to mention their head coach is not can’t even stand up he’s in the back there’s so much going on there and yet they’ve had great success they’ve overcome a lot of obstacles Monica I I hear your logic but I disagree I I would put Minnesota one on my list and I think I leave the list as is and just Shuffle from there so I mean guess the bottom line of it is this because I said this on McAfee yesterday and he posted it and I saw a lot of the response was it’s a loser’s attitude only the Champions can be successful if anything else is a failure that’s why you’ve never done anything greeny that’s why you’ve never won anything greeny that’s why you never played anything greeny and the bottom line of it is maybe there is some truth to that I like the fact that Jaylen Brunson feels that way that’s how I want my players to think anything short of a championship is a failure but to me that’s an unfair way for others to categorize it yeah every team’s different uh it can’t just be defined if you win a championship or not now for the team like a Celtics or or uh Denver then yeah that’s the You’re Building these levels of success okay this was good this was a success he the Orlando Magic like this was a man you know I mean just from someone who lives down there going to the games like it’s changed like today this year is a success for every team on the board um I would have Minnesota higher personally just due to the fact that I think we all knew they were going to be good I don’t think anybody knew that they were going to be this good to the point where like now we’re talking to them realistically having a chance to win the championship [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause]

Brunson has the mentality we need in New York. Love love him. My dad stopped watching the Knicks after Ewing left and now JB has him watching again. His heart has been healed 😂
so dallas is not a success story? non playoff team last year and now a western conference finalist? hating too much?
Timberwolves #1 – considering that everyone said the Gobert trade was a failure
Lebron said it’s just basketball 🏀
Pacers #1? They are extremely lucky. Giannis out, Dame missing games playing injured. OG going out changed the entire momentum for the series, Robinson out, Bojan out, Brunson and Hart playing injured. Not going to include Randle because the Knicks play better without him. Injuries are a part of the game but they literally had the easiest path to the ECF in recent years. They shouldn’t even be on the list 🤣 Boston is gonna smoke them in 5. Might even be a sweep!
Mavericks is championshion or burst , same with celtics . Wolves is championship or burst right now ,why beat the champs if you're not ready to go all the way .
I Was not able to Watch game 7 of OKC AND MAVS as what this person is saying
Okc thunder in 2nd is fair
I can’t see anyone guessing pacers
That was a dumb question to Brunson lol, last season they made it to G6, this year they made it to G7. Under what measurement would he think that's a success, or even progress lol
Lakers not getting swept it’s a success 😂
This is such ESPN NY bias bull****. The Knicks should not be on this list period, they made the e semis. last season and lost in 6, they retooled and ….. made the e semis and lost in 7, congrats you played one more game what a success??? The other 4 teams are good, but it should go Thunder, Pacers, Minny, Magic, Dallas. ESPN is worse than fox sports at this point
Greeny is a real 1 putting Indy #1 as a NYK fan. NOBODY outside of Indiana even had this team in the postseason.
Look how uncomfortable they are giving the Pacers any praise, lol. Clowns.
Dallas from out of the playoffs last year and probably the worst trade based on what ESPN graded Kyrie to one series away from the Finals. It still hurts them.
Media really hating on Dallas man. From them hating on the tram tanking for a draft pick and miss a play in to making it back to the wcf
The same people who had Dallas losing to OKC, rated the Kyrie trade a failure and said Mavs would miss playoffs, rated the PJ Washington and Daniel Gafford moves as a D….are now gaslighting you into believing they are championship or bust 😂😂😂
OKC is #1. They are years ahead of schedule. They traded everything for future draft picks and there's no way they expected the one seed this year
The Indiana Pacers scored the most points by a team this season, with 10,110 points.
Pacers for sure
At least he can admit the season was not a success because they didn't make it to the Eastern Conference Finals
Giannis is too much of a coward to know what failure is Magellan knows what failure is good for him👍
THE WHITE MEDIA TOUTS THE KNICKS BECAUSE THEY GOT A
1.WHITE COACH
2 WHITE DANTE DIVENCENZO
3. WHITE ISIAH HARTENSTEIN
This is successful not best. Pacers are clearly not the best team, maybe the luckiest team. But you are just wrong if you think this isn’t a successful season for a team that was a lottery team the past few years
Jalen " Ima shoot 50 shots to get 40 points " Brunson
This is why greeny is one of the best media personalities out there never biased
Pacers fan here. IMO I think the Twolves deserve the top spot. I'll admit I was one of the ones laughing at them when they made the Gobert trade. And at the end of last year I felt validated and was sure they were gonna have to blow it up. In fairness to my prediction though I had no idea Ant man was about to become the face of the league debatabley. But that alongside going to at least the conference finals is why I think they deserve the number 1 spot. At the beginning of the year they weren't supposed to make the playoffs in my mind let alone be competing against Luka for a finals appearance. As a Pacers fan I can say I'm happy with what we've accomplished but after the Siakam trade the idea was we're probably gonna lose to the Celtics in the conference finals unless the Knicks knock us off. We beat a completely depleted banged up Knicks squad in 7. Tbh I'm a little concerned we've never reached the offensive peaks we had reached pre Siakam and pre Haliburton injury. We've finally started to come together and gel but there's still some concern that this roster doesn't reach the offensive potential we had thought when we made the trade. Regardless they need to add one more piece this off-season (preferably a good perimeter defender) and then we can be legitimate contenders. But until then this was the result we expected so unless we reach the finals to me the Twolves are the biggest success story this year. Applause to all of those who read all this.
Mad respect for Greeny for recognizing the Pacers and their run. People sleep on this team because of the small market slant. Could take Boston to 6 or 7.
Twolves should be on #1 they wasn’t expected to be this good and remember SWEPT KD and Booker and just took down the defending champs, then OKC and Pacers.
Black players think they invented talking trash. AS MOMMA WOULD SAY BOY TAKE OUT THE TRASH IT DON'T BELONG IN MY HOUSE
None of today's NBA players would work for Jefferson Davis
Greene thinking CRITICALLY is confusing to them Lol
Joke of a list 🤣
Ant man getting 100 million a year contracts
Indiana beat an injured knicks team 😅 nah
Indiana went from lottery pick to ECF. That is the real reason they are number 1
Monica just can't be still. 😂 I love it.🎉
This list will stand when they see Pacers are certified legit contenders this year when our pace wears down big those headed Boston Leprechauns.
