Shit is getting old at this point, he’s better than most of the guys that made it and got more votes than him.

    Unfortunately, team defense factors in and ranking 21st was never getting Giannis enough votes this season even if he’s better individually

    This shouldnt be surprising. Bucks were one of the worst defensive teams in NBA history for the first half of the season and then were simply below league average defensive team for second half.

    Bobby Portis getting the same amount of votes as Jaren Jackson Jr. for all defensive team is high tier trolling

    The NBA is also so stacked right now that there is more than 10 people deserving of all defense.

    It’s not the end all be all but Defensive EPM has him as like the 40th best defender this past season, and 22nd when you only count guys that played 65 games or more.

    Anyway, I’m positive voters do look at stuff like this since defensive impact can be so hard to quantify based on regular box score stats.
