I think even more annoying than armchair gms (which actually isn’t annoying at all, because discussions are fun) is the people who get overly attached to erratic players like mpj.

I follow a ton of sports, and I’ve never seen a weirder connections between fans and the players than I have with the Nuggets. Some of y’all act like you’re going to be awarded season tickets for your blind loyalty. Being a fan means you get to be critical of your team.

my problem is majorly of the trades im seeing are really bad and like some of them aren’t even humanly possible.
I’ve got guys. We simply trade Christian Braun for Tyrese Maxey. Problem solved. Make me GM.

But it’s fun. With a team like this, it’s not a daunting task to plug the holes. Guys like Nicolas Batum can come in and pay dividends for a championship run. Doesn’t need to be anything crazy.
That’s why it’s so crucial for your GM. This team needs a slight tweak here and there. Batum would be a great fit, a couple young bigs in the draft. Can’t let this window slam shut, Joker is too good, and it would be malpractice not to give him every resource available.

Armchair GM is more or less equally productive as self flogging of genitals.
That said, if one is practiced, the other should be mandatory.
