36% from the 3 and 79% at the FT line. Averaging 12 pts? Okay, yes. We need a Center like him that can pass and shoot. I like the prospect of Coleman Hawkins… Especially if he played with Podz.

All above 6’6, so that’s a plus lol. All are 3+ year players too (Sandfort 3yrs, Reeves 5yrs, Hawkins 4yrs).
Seen Sandfort mocked in the early 2nd more often than not, but maybe he has a TJD type fall. Solid offensive production out of a 6’7 wing, that’ll always be useful. His 3pt percentage was “only” 38% this year, [but that was on 7+ attempts per game](https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/payton-sandfort-1.html). Projects to be a good floor spacer and a threat off movement, has the FT% to match (91% on 3+ FTA).
Also had a decent assist to turnover ratio (2.7:1.3) for someone who isn’t exactly a ball handler. Defense is meh, but he should be an average team defender, and has the positional size to at least be serviceable at the NBA level (athleticism may not fully be there, but he had a good shuttle time at the combine, also likely strengthens up a bit more at the pro-level). Seems more like a trade up target, but who knows.
Reeves is a score, score, score guy. 6’6 wing (think he may be pigeon-holed as a SG?). [Scored 20pts a game on pretty good efficiency this year](https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/antonio-reeves-1.html), 50% from the field (14 FGs a game) and 45% from 3 (on almost 6 attempts a game). May have been an outlier year, but he seems like he knows how to get a bucket. Concern is defense (…at least he tries?), but adding a scorer to the bench ain’t awful, especially if he brings athleticism and positional size at SG.
Hawkins is a 6’10 big… instantly becomes the tallest player on the team, so he’s for sure got that going for him lol. Had knee tendinitis this year, so that’s a bit spooky, and he’s been pretty hot/cold over the years. Had a really good stretch mid/late season this year against Big 10 competition, [could take a 20 game sample size](https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/coleman-hawkins-1/gamelog/2024#20231209-20240305-sum:gamelog) where he averaged like 15pts, 42% from 3 (5 attempts/game), 6 boards, 3 assists (to 1.7 turnovers), 2 steals, and 1 block… not bad for a PF/C.
Had a really good shooting season. Almost 37% from 3 on 4.5+ attempts a game, and almost 80% from the line on 2.7FTA… really not bad for a PF/C. Was 28% from 3 on 4 attempts the year prior, 30% (on 2 attempts) and 23% (on .5 attempts) before that, along with dropping from 68% on FTs as a freshman to 61% as a junior, so maybe his senior year was an outlier? Would be nice to give him the benefit of the doubt, but that’s a crazy jump into year 4.
Add in the assist to turnover ratio, having him act as a secondary/tertiary playmaker could be interesting. Rebounding ain’t great given his size, but he does bring defense, and should be athletic/mobile enough to hold his own when switched out to the perimeter. Wouldn’t hate snagging him, but it seems he often goes undrafted in mocks (and is pretty far down big boards), so maybe the hope is to add him as a UDFA? Seems risky if they’re genuinely interested, fuck consensus at the point. If they think his 3ball and playmaking are real, then yeah, he’s well worth 52 (if he’s even still on the board).
Of those 3, I’d definitely lean Sandfort, but they likely need to get up to the 30s for him (wouldn’t be shocked if he clawed his way into the late 1st, just need one team to fall in love with his shot). Reeves as an athletic scorer/movement shooter and Hawkins as a versatile big, both would be pretty good fits. I’d lean Hawkins over Reeves if they believe he’s an actual floor spacing big. Having a 6’10 PF/C who can shoot +35% from 3 and play switchy defense would be one hell of a wrinkle to add, the Naz Reid dream lol.
Been liking a lot of these draft visits, hopefully they snag someone that pans out.

Steve can’t have Austin Reaves so he wants to draft Antonio Reeves. I think he’s missing how this all works

Are these all projected second rounders?
