There’s no way to know if we would be on the same path as Dallas with Luka instead of Trae.
I believe both players got traded into better situations for their careers. I highly doubt a Trae/Dennis Smith combo would have worked in Dallas. It certainly didn’t work with Luka.
Could Luka have done the same here as he has done in Dallas? Possibly, you could argue probably. But I don’t think it’s as simple as comparing each player one v. one and basing your opinion on that alone.

With all rumours about why this trade even happened that were circulating over here it’s always baffling how some US media either don’t know about it or is playing very dumb. Either way, move on
92.9 sucks lol. Can’t believe they have fallen off like they have. It’s pretty embarrassing but not just them, but a lot of media here in Atlanta. Especially to be a media heavy city, this is embarrassing.

As an outsider I view this trade in a similar sense to Hakeem being picked before Jordan , yeah everyone knows Jordan is better but the difference isn’t anything serious and that’s a huge compliment to Hakeem and Trae
