The Wizards will make Kyle Kuzma available on the trade market, per @JakeLFischer (sports.yahoo.com/76ers-aiming-t…). Washington was seeking two first-round picks for Kuzma at the trade deadline, but it’s unknown if the price has dropped or not.

I’m not saying no. It’s just a no right now.

  2. RoutSpout

Didn’t he use to date Herros baby momma? I imagine there’s a bit of friction there

  3. CrossDeSolo

All I know is there are a lot of great role players on the 4 teams left in the playoffs, the heat could have made a move but didn’t.

Sometimes you have to go for it

  4. MiamiSportsGuru

I would do whatever I can do to get him at the price of this years FRP and Tyler Herro. Would greatly improve us

  5. Trendelthegreat

I forgot how annoying this sub is in the offseason

Every slight whisper of a player potentially on the verge of maybe being put on a possible trade table will instantly be posted here despite the Heat never making trades.

  6. MargielaMan568

This could be a move that would help us. Not to mention the guy’s contract goes down after every year. He’d be our third option, assuming our FO trades Herro, and we’d finally have a 4 that fits beside Bam. But as usual, our FO will make an excuse not to make the trade, and he’ll end up getting traded somewhere else where he’ll contribute.

  7. He was a really solid player on the lakers. Within a Miami organization, I’m fairly certain he will be used correctly.

The fact that y’all don’t see Jovic is better than Kuzma right now, today, shows how this is one of the dumbest sports subs

  9. I don’t understand the thought process here. This would make you a little better, but it doesn’t really get you that much closer to being a title contender. Meanwhile you’re giving up assets than can be better used elsewhere. I feel like a lot of people just want change on the team, so they look for anyone that pops up in trade rumors.

Dont do it guys, he wont be moving the needle for y’all that much. I would save that for something better. Lakers giving him and KCP away to get Westbrook is obviously the worst trade ever, but trading for him now is different cause he plays on a terrible team where he can get buckets. This inflates his stats.

i wouldn’t mind at the right price he could have a pj washington type of impact

  12. No-Annual2948

No. We need to stop throwing away our first round picks for slightly above average players. I’m not sacrificing our future for Kyle kuzma. We need to fix our roster construction and keep or gain even more draft capital.

  13. I’d say for the right price, yes, but I doubt it’d be a palatable price.

  14. MrBiggleswerth

This sub needs a god damn intervention if y’all wanna give up 2 first round picks or actual assets for a dude who’s got a 54% true shooting percentage with a fucking 29.5% usage rating (which is higher than guys like Trae, Booker, Lebron, Zion, KD). Lord help us, this is gonna be a long off season

  15. ReallyBrainDead

I’m sure they can be negotiated down to 1…if you take Poole too.

  16. ballwallz

Wouldn’t even average 12 pts on the and would be a liability on defense, nah I’m good on that trash

  17. Heavens we’re now in the kyle kuzma stage of the cycle💔

  18. beelzebub_069

2 firsts is too much for Kuz.
His value is a package built around 1 first round pick.
Something like 1rp, Robinson, Martin (s&t).
But even then, I’d still hesitate to include that 1st rounder, even though we’d have to.

  19. LiGhTnInG358

I wouldn’t want to trade two picks for Kuzma, but I wouldn’t mind if we could somehow get him and a role player for Tyler Herro.

  20. Ok-Philosopher9070

He’s good, but i’d say only do it if we give up like jamal cain and a pick or something along those lines. Descending contract is cool but 2 picks is kinda steep tbh

  21. Longjumping-Sort3741

Kuz is an interesting one. In theory, he fits well next to Bam, but hes not the most efficient shooter.
He is 6’9 “and can shoot, pass, and defend at a decent level.
It probably comes down to how much upside we think Jovic has. Personally, I’d rather start Jovic at the 4 next season and invest in a POA defender, front court depth/size, and much needed finishing.
Herro for Kuzma is almost a like for like swap though and benefits both teams.

  22. Apparently they had a trade set up ready to go but kuzma kinda said nah and they were willing to wait. I wonder wat team was willing to give up 2 firsts

Maybe it was the mavs b4 they pulled the Gafford, Washington trades

  23. amlanding20

I like Kuz more than most. I think he’s great as a role player (4th option) on a winning team. I just don’t know if he makes sense atm

The move would’ve been at the deadline, Lowry + Caleb + picks for Kuz and Tyus Jones

  24. JabezMakaveli

I honestly wouldn’t mind having him on the roster, but not at the expense of 2 first rounders. Maybe 2 or 3 2nd rounders though lol but I doubt we have those picks. I haven’t paid attention to our draft picks

  25. OhMyItzBam_Herro305

There’s a Kuzma type in this draft lol, why get another? Waste of picks. When we can go for someone like Nic Claxton or Clint Capela.

  26. Random_Thinker007

Anybody saying No is the reason our team never gets better. Like it or not. Kuzma was a big reason for lakers final run success. He is a guy who can score and has okay defense. He also had a great contract that goes down in price each year. He would actually fit nicely next to Bam. A lot of you are caught up in his poor shot selection but that will definitely change under Coach spo. He literally had to take those shots because of his teammates

I will always remain the same on trades

    – Never overpay

    – I value picks over players

    – Target role players over “whales”

The same 2 first and 3 role players that can get a whale, can also get you 2-3 Nembhard/Hart/D White types. Giving up more than 1 first is exclusive for the top guys who have been a top 2 option on a Conf Finals team. Giving up 2 first for a guy that hasn’t done that is overpaying.

Only idiots want to overpay because they are frustrated and can’t think straight. Very quick to panic when they see 10 transactions in 2 months and their team isn’t 1.

First rd picks are more valuable than players to me. Ship out who you want, but make sure the 1st you’re giving out makes sense. I respect Jimmy, Herro, Bam, etc’s game, but if the trade makes sense, it makes sense. I was a Heat fan before any of their names were known and I will continue to be after they are gone.

Some pretend to want the team to be better through trades, but if a trade that made sense came along, they would drop being a fan over Jimmy or Herro or Bam. They go off all day about who is untouchable, but they really are playing favorites.

For 5 years, its been Duncan, Bam, Jimmy, and Herro. Everything outside of 4 players has been changed. Some are repeating this narrative of changing the core, but they really are just talking about 1 guy. Herro and Duncan can be traded and the ones who really wanted Jimmy out will still be unsatisfied. Same vice versa.

I’ve seen some say Bam is not a true 5 and instead of getting him a backup, they want to trade him for Hospital Embiid. This shit is nuts man smh
