I’ve always believed in him too. It was just a matter of time

He’s hit his 3s and shown an aptitude for throwing lobs from the p/r. That’ll get you really far in this system.
Cambocant
He literally helped to change the momentum of that game. I think he’s shown enough to deserve consistent minutes and should be given the green light on offense when either Luka or Kai are sitting.

Man has played 131 games in his young career, this is his first playoffs, and he’s only 21. This is why I was so adamant he should get more real minutes in games, much less no more DNP’s, because it was necessary experience.
The fact he’s shown up in the playoffs and is now outplaying guys who were ahead of him earlier in the season is huge. I think this is going to propel him to big things next year.

He has produced. We are too hard on young guys most times.
He is 21 and Green is 23, these guys are young in real and NBA age. I am sure there are guys older than them in this years draft.

He’s gotta work on his handles and his decision-making/shot selection. Both should improve with time. His passing and defense have taken leaps.

Hardy is younger but this kind of reminds me of JJB being a spark plug off the bench in 2011.
darth_butcher
I like him. He is very agile and can maneuver well through defenses.

Will Hardy be a starter? Idk, probably not
But championship teams need valuable bench players as well. Devean George and Lindsey Hunter played an important role on the 2002 lakers. If Hardy can do 15 minutes a game of high quality back up shooting and driving, that kicks ass

He’s being aggressive out there. Just needs to be a little bit more under control. But you can’t be passive coming in the game if you don’t want to get pulled. Kidd has shown you’ll get pulled for being passive more rather than making mistakes being aggressive.

His minutes were much more valuable than dante exum during the playoffs so far.
Exum is incredible valuable, if he is a 3pt threat. But in the playoffs, especially in the first round against LAC, he went cold. Then hardy got most of his minutes towards the end of the OKC series.
those minutes were the most volatile during the regular season. it was always “should exum or hardy get those minutes”.
Been saying kidd shouldve worked him into regular rotation for like 60 days. Slightly odd he waited to try it until playoffs? but credit for finally doing it. Hes absolutely a key piece of this rotation. Hes the only player truly comfortable creating off the bounce besides Lukai. And he hits 3s. No brainer. Would need him against Boston if/when it comes to that

The addition of some playmaking has really made him so much more valuable. It’s great to see.

Its addition by subtraction. Giving Tim Hardaway Jr. less minutes have made the bench minutes a lot more productive.

He’s been great! I only get a little nervous when he’s the one bringing the ball up the court because sometimes they almost steal the ball when they pressure him.

Hardy should be taking Exum and THJ’s minutes at this point. He’s shown he can hit shots but more importantly that he can make plays on the offensive end.

i was at the doorway but decided to go back in 🙂

He is definitely playing better and contributing more than THJ and Exum combined. Exum can’t hit anything but his shot was never great and THJ.. idk

Looking at Hardy, he seems pretty good. He would be a 20ppg scorer on the Pistons
Drizzt3919
He scared me in the first half in the last game but settled down in the second half
