Refs love Tatum, he shoots 35% if they dont blow the whistle on every single layup he is about to miss. His own teammates dont even get the same phantom calls
When Tatum is going ti clearly miss a layup, refs will blow it EVERYTIME. This is how he keeps a decent shooting percentage, just cancel out his bad ones

Tatum had given the game away with that forced layup up 112-111. It should have been a pass to Jrue for a corner 3. This would have been 2-1. Jrue played like a champion and JT finally showed up. JT got to still do better at reading the defense in clutch moments. Overall well fought win for the Celtics, they beat the Pacers and the referees.

Watching the Celts snatch victory from the jaws of defeat twice in a series fills me with hope.
If they win this year, I don't know if there was ever an easier route to a championship. They would have one real playoff series, and that would be in the finals. Pacers are so bad defensively it's a miracle they got here, and they still almost took two games
