[Pincus] The most recent intel suggests the San Antonio Spurs aren’t interested. If Russell can’t get a viable offer from the Philadelphia 76ers, Detroit Pistons, Charlotte Hornets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Toronto Raptors or Utah Jazz, he’s wholly reliant on the Lakers for his payday.

It’s crazy how if you underperform according to Lakers standards, your market value just tanks. Who was the last role player from us to leave and get a pay increase? Only one comes to mind is Caruso but that’s because we fumbled on re-signing him

I can’t be the only one that thinks it’s hilarious they go on to list 6 other teams before the lakers.

Out of the loop, what happened to the Magic being interesting in Dlo? They aren’t even listed as someone offering a contract to him now.

Game 3 ruined any of the good will he got this season. With that said, ever since his interview where he bashed some critics, he slowly declined to finish the season. If we won game 2 after his performance, he might’ve gotten more hype

Teams you can definitely rule out: Philly, Hornets, OKC

Possible but unlikely: Utah and Toronto

Possible: Detroit and Magic (who weirdly aren’t listed)

    > EDIT: The last sentence of this Pincus quote goes: “It just takes one, but multiple NBA sources question who would be willing to pay Russell if the Magic aren’t.”

DLO for DFS and Sharpe i heard is a possibility.

Then do Rui and Gabe for DJM

    Vando for Caruso

Sign Royce O Neal and Andre Drummond in the offseason as FA signings.

    DJM Royce DFS Bron AD

    Bench

    Caruso Reaves Max Wood/Sharpe Drummond

That list makes up 1/3rd of the league who might have interest in DLo, yet the article makes is sound so bleak.

I can’t see how a coach like Pop would want a player like Dlo. On the top of that this is definitely not someone I would like around Wembanyama. Dlo is pretty much like Ham in terms of self awareness.

He’s a good player, u know how hard it is to get a 41% 3pt shooter. Dude has a sick jumper, he’s just not gonna help u in the playoffs. It’s a hard decision cause he can still light it up in the regular season and help u win games

  10. Dlo’s PR seriously needs to do something, right now his value is tanking. He might opt in which the Lakers like be a trade chip.

Klutch is an army better yet a navy. smh

  12. I just dont know which team would give him more than what he is going to make on his option. The cat is out of the bag on him. If you have any real playoff aspirations, he cant be your starting PG.

  13. im-a-drawl

Don’t worry DLo the Lakers will get you to one of those teams in a 3 team deal.

  14. motorboat_mcgee

Hopefully we can retain him. Our options if he leaves are kinda bleak

  15. Ok_Concentrate_75

We don’t know this until he maybe hits FA, imo this is moot because teams would only say that in terms of a trade scenario at this point.

  16. DrButtLump

Dlo over giddy on that thunder team is a HUGE upgrade.

  17. The Magic are one good move away from Finals contender. Dlo would set them back significantly.

  18. Scorpionrah

He left out Orlando. They have super duper max money at the moment

  19. justredditting1010

Two teams I see as possibilities, Magic and Nets.

  20. The Lakers should keep Russell. He’s the best shooter on the team and he’s only 28.
