the truth has been revealed about bronny James potentially joining the Toronto Raptors after a year of Messi U Jerry scouting LeBron james’ son we have an update on the probability he lands with Toronto and there’s also been a lot of yaka purle trade rumors escalating which has a lot of Toronto Raptors fans fired up about what the team should potentially do this off season so we’re discuss all of that in this video if you want to stay up to date with everything regarding this torona Raptor team youve watching the vids but haven’t subscribe just yet it would mean the world to me if you guys could hit that subscribe button but let’s dive in the first topic of discussion first thing we’re taking to look at is the truth about the Raptor draft specifically in regards to bronny James now this has certainly been the most controversial player in the entire NBA draft more than Zach Ed some people think is a second round pick that’s going to be the next luk Garza then I’ve seen a lot of people say oh he’s the next Yao Ming going to be a dominant Force down in the paint lots of varying opinions well with bronny James the opinions aren’t necessarily talent-wise because let’s be Frank if you look at his stats in college they are not overwhelming they are not impressive five points per game three rebounds two assists 36% of the field not an effective three-point shooter even though his draft combine has been solid but he is a guy that has been impressing during the NBA draft combine which has made his draft stock rise and given the fact as I showed in the intro the Raptors have been linked to bronny James over the course of the season over the past few weeks there’s been a lot more discourse amongst the fan base about whether or not the team could actually draft Brony James in this year’s NBA draft with either their 19th or 31st overall selection c s well NBA Insider Raptor Insider Doug Smith essentially shocked down those reports or opinions about that being a potential possibility saying that there’s a zero chance today that the Raptors will draft bronny James now given all the reports and how much he’s shooting up the draft boards some people this might come off as a surprise but to others you know that again I’ll pull up his sort of draft stats there you know five points per game maybe it doesn’t it probably shouldn’t even though there’s the fact that you could hit that winning lot ticket in terms of getting LeBron James if you draft his son which it seems like other teams are going full force into is essentially the Phoenix Suns are taking that route there now as reports have essentially come out that they are very deeply vested in acquiring bronny James and could potentially draft him with the number 22 overall selection I mean I’ll pull up the report here essentially Evan C said that the suns are hoping to pursue LeBron James’s off season which is why Brony James is a very serious draft option at number 22 over overall to potentially lure LeBron James in Phoenix appears to believe that they can convince LeBron to join forces with Kevin Durant Devon Booker and Bradley Beal to create a historic super team LeBron would be sacrificing almost $50 million next season if he were to legitimately consider joining the Phoenix Suns on a veterans minimum contract but could the Suns really be plotting LeBron James the big plan certainly seems like it’s on the table so that is a pretty wild approach there from the Phoenix Suns again is it realistic is it a true possibility that LeBron James in order to get his son play with his son on a team that could potentially win a championship he’d be willing to turn down 50 million I personally be skeptical about that especially if I was a Sons fan thinking that LeBron James would turn down that money to leave La no matter what the heck is going on no matter who you have in your team whether it’s Kevin Durant or whatever I mean the sons were a first round exit do we really believe that a 40-year-old LeBron James is going to lead that team to an NBA championship next year probably not but I do I bring all that up to say that there are a lot of teams across the NBA that are interested in drafting bronny but it does not seem like the Toronto Raptors are a part of that group even with that golden ticket of LeBron James being potentially available so that’s the truth that’s the probable Direction maybe MSI Jerry shuls everyone and selects bronnie James but honestly wouldn’t be shocked if he selected even before our 31st overall picks so let me know what you guys think about Brony James getting potentially selected the next thing we’re taking a look at is a yak yakap purle trade rumors now since the end of the season since we made a ton of since the trade deadline last year there’s been a lot of eyes pointed towards yaka purle but whether or not he will get dealt this off season whether or not he fits the long-term Core group of this roster and you know those questions make sense even given the fact yakob purle has honestly been our most important player in terms of winning I mean this season averaging 11 points per game nine rebounds 2.5 assists 1.5 blocks per night the stats aren’t crazy you know they aren’t you know on another level he doesn’t create a ton of his own shots 80% of his shots are assist upon inside the paint but he’s an elite Defender his defensive Bo Appliance is 1.0 on a team that really wasn’t that great last year is very impressive he’s only 28 years old and as a warp that is still positive despite again the Raptors not being an amazing team but yaka purle is a crucial piece to this Toronto Raptors group and obviously he’s a guy that uh right now there’s a lot of questions about is he 28 is he’s 28 does he fit the Scotty Barn’s timeline what’s going on and again from a similar article from Doug Smith he was asked about uh the truth about diaka Perle potentially getting dealt and he gave his his opinion on it essentially saying they win more games when purle plays uh pretty simple answer and if you trade him who provides the necessary things that he brings obviously you know if we look at this Toronto Raptor’s roster right now there’s not a lot of guys that could potentially provide that similar value I mean we have Kelly o linck who is a dude that was brought brought in and I think it’s going to be a key rotation piece for this team moving forward in the future I like the floor spacing the passing that he brings but obviously on the defensive end he doesn’t anchor the team similar ways that yaka purle does so there’s that then uh we could draft a zachel we in this year’s NBA draft there are potential options for the center position if we do move off of yaka purle and I completely agree in the sense that yaka purle is extremely crucial to this current Toronto Raptors group there’s no ifs an or butts about it and we also have him under contract for a pretty significant amount of time I mean if we look at the stats there uh he’s going to be making $20 million for the until 2026 2027 if he accepts that player option so I mean you have control of his contract for the long-term future so a very good player controllable asset that plays a position of need for your team why on Earth would he get traded I completely get that argument however the other side of things you know and the other sort of end of that perspective yaka purle helps this team be winning it it’s true it is what it is and this Raptor team with yaka perto in the lineup was actually pretty solid last year but if this Trona Raptor team especially with our draft pick going into next year wants to tank one more season wants to break out the tank once again take some l so we get one more High lottery pick to build around this core Emanuel quickley RJ baretton Scotty Barnes then there’s a realistic possibility that yaka PE could be hindering your chances at securing a long-term star now as we see with the draft odds is it guaranteed you’re going to get a number one generational Prospect if you’re one of the worst teams in NBA history no the Detroit Pistons are selecting fifth overall despite one of the most tumultuous horrible seasons in basketball history so there’s that that you have to factor in but this Raptor team some people are arguing need to sort of go all out try to get another star because right now if we sort of compete and try to win next season we’re just going to be one of those eighth seed cap teams you know maybe we are a low lower TI your playoff team that gets knocked down the first round it is what it is and frankly I understand that perspective personally my take my opinion on it where I stand on this whole debate is hey this team should go into next season with the hopes of trying to do our best trying to win some games trying to do all of that and if things don’t work out early on in the year then you say hey trade deadline probably deal away purle bottom out and then figure it out for next season you know just as long as you’re in that Lottery odds there’s not a great separation between you know the bottom percentage and you know where the there is a significant percentage where the Atlanta Hawks landed but you know if you’re in that bottom 10 teams you have a significant chance of jumping to the top four it’s Le it’s less important to be completely bottoming out this season because we have control of our draft pick so trade deadline next year things aren’t going right trade away yaka purle and see whatever happens but going in next year try to win try to build that winning culture at the start of the year maybe this Raptor team shocks people RJ IQ Scotty take that leap in development and then we’ll see how it plays out but it is
