TIL, Mavs (FTM!) Cuban employs a “Legends” program to mentor certain players. Hypothetically, who would be the Rockets “legends” to mentor each of our Core 6 young players and then our potential 3rd pick (assuming it is kept)?

Obviously hakeem for our bigs. Horry might be good for bari. Mad max would be great to toughen up jalen.

Hakeem does it for free every few years. He worked with Yao, Dwight, Clint, and I think he’s been with Alp too if I’m not mistaken

I really hope harden would do this once he retires. Whatever you think about him there’s no denying his bbiq, court vision, and ability to spot the smallest angles to create an advantage are some of the best ever.

Cassell would’ve been doing this for years already if we ever gave him a coaching gig 😢

    Brew just for the vibes

    KENNY SMITH LOLLLLLLL

I think the champs might be a little old for it but obviously you’d take whatever teaching they’d give. For a more recent guy, Aaron Brooks maybe?
